Such a lovely, peaceful retreat. Loved the opportunity to stay somewhere we've never had the chance to experience. The views of the surrounding areas were good for the soul. It was great to be able to sit on the deck and enjoy the Autumn sunshine and share the space with kangaroos and a range of beautiful birdlife. And the view of the stars at night was magnificent. The accommodation was comfortable and there were thoughtful amenities included. Look forward to being able to return soon.

After travelling with a crew of hard workers,staying in some pretty dingy motels. Lee's home was an absolute dream to stay in, a real home away from home. We were able to cook our own meals, relax by the fire pit and not worry about cleaners coming into rooms or disturbing other patrons. Fantastic way to start our first group Airbnb experience. Beautifully presented home with all the amenities. And its right next door to the pub, but with enough distance for no noise from there to be any issue . Highly recommend.

A fantastic stay! Janelle was friendly, informative, and made everything seamless. The cabin was spotless, the bed incredibly comfortable, and all the little details were well thought out. Communication was excellent, with prompt responses and clear instructions, making check-in effortless. Exactly what I was looking for—great value for a wonderful stay!

This place is just magic. We loved every second of our stay and would recommend to anyone. Stargazing is beyond belief and we woke up to some Roos bouncing around outside. A perfect stay, with great responsive hosts who were there to help whenever we needed.

Our family of 3 (couple with a 8 year old son) stayed for a week at 'Shahmist' cottage using Gilgandra as our base to explore the Coonabarabran and Dubbo region . Our family had a peaceful, relaxed holiday. Some specific inputs: (1) Prompt, responsive host - Terese assisted me with local area guidance and provided recommendations whenever I sought information. For any query, she was only a message away. (2) Lovely country home - Terese's kitchen was well stocked, yards and indoors were clean. Many nooks and crannies (BBQ area, fire pit area, yards etc) with nice sunshine made our stay special. (3) Ample activities to keep kids busy - Feeding the birds and the resident cat (Terese provided pet food) and saying Hello to the horses kept my son busy along with painting books. Terese provided coloured chalk too! Happy kid, happy parents! (4) Caring neighbours - Kindly provided my son with a ball to play when he lost his - they didn't have to! A week just flew by - we'll visit again!

Such a beautiful calm place to be. Robyn was welcoming and accommodating of our needs. Everything we needed was there. The beds were comfortable and the shower hot. We even saw a kangaroo family enjoying breakfast. 🙂
