What a gorgeous retreat for our family! We had plenty of space for our large family to relax after the VT football game and long days exploring Blacksburg and Radford. Perfect location between the two and easy to find. Everything was clean and with freshly updated features, we felt right at home ! Our host, Stephanie, was proactive and provided all the information we needed for a timely check-in and check-out process. No questions were unanswered and she checked on us along the way. We really appreciated everything! Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a home with amazing Mountain Views and little peace and quiet.

We loved our stay at Little Sycamore. It is a beautiful and peaceful place on the river. The hosts are wonderful people as are the neighbors. The view of the river is spectacular and it is tucked back off the main road so there is very little noise. Access to the river is excellent and we had alot of fun fishing and being out on the water. The hosts have worked very hard on the house and everything was spotless. We really like how convenient it was to the stores and amenities. The dogs had a great time playing in the back yard and in the river. The porch is a fantastic place to just sit and relax and listen to the sounds of the river. I highly recommend staying at Little Sycamore. We definitely plan on making future reservations.

We stayed while visiting my daughter at VT. Yes, it is a 35-40 minute drive to the college but it is a nice, easy and beautiful drive and definitely worth it if you like to get away from the city atmosphere. This place was right up our alley as we love to be outside and not stuck in a hotel room. The inside is truly like a beautiful hotel suite with all the upgrades. We love that you can have a short conversation over the propane fire pit or a relaxing few hours at your wood burning fire pit. The big bonus is you can end your day in the clean hot tub. It was also great to wake up and see the cows in the field next to us in the morning. The projector tv is something we didn’t think we would use but turned out we really enjoyed it! Definitely worth the stay if you’re looking for a few days away from it all.

The house and farm were absolutely beautiful! We loved the location as it was easy to get to the main roads, yet felt like you were away from everything. The house was very comfortable and had many nice touches, including some delicious beef jerky from the farm! Tom and Madeline were super friendly and were very responsive when the WiFi needed to be reset. It was cool to hear some of the history of the farm too. And our dog loved sitting on the porch watching the cows and all the activity. And as a bonus, he got to play with their dogs too! We couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay!! We will definitely be back again. Thanks for everything.

This truly was the most fantastic get away. The cabin and property were immaculate. Having full use of the hot tub at this price point was a huge draw. Gas grill, flat top and smoker available for our use and Eddie even fired up the grill and got the barbque tools for us. Great conversation with Eddie and family, they were present to socialize and help as needed but not invasive at all. They thought of everything with this rental, I cannot think of a thing I would change. Relaxing country place with little creek is a perfect place to unwind.

I cannot say enough good things about this place and the owners. Dave and Susan were extremely kind, generous and accommodating. On our first day we went for a walk around part of the property on a trail that Dave made. We were able to take the owners dog, Ruby with us which made it even more fun. We got to see the chickens and pony as well. The place is beautiful with everything you could possibly need. The decor was so pretty it instantly made you feel warm and welcomed. There are plenty of games if you decide to have a quiet night in. There are also a couple good breweries close by if you decide to venture out. Unfortunately it was chilly and sometimes rainy so we didn’t get a chance to go down to the river but it was a beautiful drive along side it. We are already planning to come back for our daughter’s VT graduation. Thank you Susan and Dave for a memorable getaway.

My family and I had a great stay! It was comfortable and cozy. The hosts were responsive and helpful, letting us know details ahead of time. Our experience was great overall and I highly recommend stay here to enjoy the beautiful places all around this area of West Virginia!

Fantastic property. The photos don’t do it justice. Great location - rural and peaceful setting near good trails and Rising Silo, and an easy drive to the campus and downtown Blacksburg. Can’t say enough great things about this property!
