Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Ghana

Came to Ghana for a combination of connecting with historical sociocultural experiences across the African Diaspora and Detty December celebrations. This was a good place to stay for that. Getting to the beach/other areas 12-15 minutes Uber/Bolt. Eric’s place was exactly how it was described in my opinion. Eric was a great host, very responsive and extremely nice. Hospitality was top tier.

Lady Jennifer was a nice host and she gave us a free ride to and fro from the airport. She was available and showed us around the neighborhood. I recommend

Peter (the host), Mrs. Theodora (the owner) and Noah (the cleaner) were all very friendly and helpful to me throughout my stay at their property. They also expressed general concern about anything that inconvenienced me, such as occasional city electricity and water outages, even though their property is fitted with a generator, and a big water tank and its associated water pump - which conveniently get clients through the times of those utilities outages. Another important thing about this property is that the rent being charged, the internal and external space, amenities provided and the good location of the property are all good deals for its residents. Peter and Mrs. Theodora also provided some useful connections that contributed to the overall success of the objectives of my mission in the Greater Accra Region. In light of all of the above, I really enjoyed my stay at this property and will highly recommend it to anyone seeking my opinion about it.

Vista House does indeed have a beautiful view over the salt ponds and Elmina and Cape Coast Castles. We also very much enjoyed having a birds eye view over Elmina town and hearing the sounds of town life. Eunice, the kindest caretaker, cooked us delicious local food and was always very helpful. We highly recommend Vista House and thank Carol dearly for a wonderful stay.

Frank is a great host! Words can’t explain how good of a host he was or is. I’ve been to Airbnbs but this host is exceptional. Not only did he care about our well being, he also cared about our safety and easy access to things and even drove us to some of these places to be secured! Super friendly!

During my 4 week trip from Morocco to Ghana it was the best equiped flat.

A real gem! :) Lisa’s place is really nice and we straight felt at home. The apartment is quiet, and well located - easy walking distance to Oxford street and various places in Osu. Staff was super kind, Lisa always communicated well and kindly allowed us to leave our bags for longer than we stayed. We’d love to be back!

The place is actually better in reality than the photos. The furniture and decor are classy and elegant. The place was clean. All the appliances were quality brands and worked perfectly . This place is probably the nicest Airbnb I’ve stayed at and I’ve stayed in many. There’s a restaurant and store right inside the compound that are very convenient if you need anything, however late. The place is very secure. My only complaint is that the WiFi was choppy and disappeared occasionally. It might have been the network because my personal portable WiFi didn’t work well either. I will definitely be back.

I had a pleasant stay. The apartment was clean and cosy and all instructions were clear and easy to follow. The hosts responses were also very quick and informative.

The pictures don’t do Nana’s place justice. This is probably the best sea view you will get in a serviced apartment in Ghana. There is an en suite in all 3 rooms and Nana was kind enough to give us late check out as there was availability. Our group was able to walk to breakfast at a couple of the most highly recommended breakfast spots in Accra, however this penthouse apartment is on the same floor as the rooftop pool and restaurant if you’d rather dine there. I’ve stayed in many serviced apartments in Accra but for this view and location, I’d say this is the best. We would certainly love to return. Thank you Nana for your fine hospitality!

Sey is superb host! Very attentive and respectful to customers needs. Made me and my child very comfortable and welcomed. The house is beautiful and the pool was the cleanest pool i have wver seen. The location is great to get get away from loud traffic. I would definitely book again! Clean and beautiful property

Jorg’s place was perfect for my trip. I had everything i needed and more . I will surely be back. Jorg didn’t have to but he also went way above and beyond with his treatment. Next time I’m in Accra will have me come back for sure.

Nice centrally located apartment complex with gym, pool, and restaurant. When a couple of minor wifi connectivity and AC issues came up, I messaged Michael and he was able to respond and resolve very rapidly. Definitely recommend this place.

I enjoyed my stay here and will absolutely come again. It was a warm welcome to Kumasi. Beautiful space, beautiful city. The hosts were so sweet and attentive. Even at late nights or early hours (sorry Nana! Lol) Thank you again for everything and see you again when I am back in Kumasi.

The highlight of my weekend wasn’t even how beautiful the rooms were but how kind Kofi was to us. Very patient in dealing with us and so much in a hurry to answer any questions! The house was so serene. Didn’t even feel like we were in Accra! It definitely felt like I was in my dream home. Everything was working and honestly, I don’t think the pictures do enough Justice to how pretty the place is. The bath tub plus Netflix was it for me! I’m definitely going back and I definitely recommend!

My stay was excellent. The place was neat and very clean. No issues with water and electricity. The host (Ms. Gifty) was incredible. Such a nice lady. Very quick to respond. I will recommend her place to everyone including myself. The security guys were very awesome. The whole community is worth the $.

I only stayed for one night. the tiny house is not a fancy accomodation but it has all you need, is really clean and the location is great. the communication with William was good and the welcome very friendly.

I felt right at home with this apartment. I was able to cook for my husband which was a big plus trying to get him ready with some of our foods from the states 😂. The apartment was great Ms Doris and her caretakers are very nice and friendly and very helpful. The cleaning lady was really nice as well. Whatever we need it was there for us . I will be booking here next year’s trip. Thank you for everything.

Two friends and I had a good stay at this three-bedroom, 3-1/2 bedroom house. Every room is spacious, and the neighborhood is quiet, leafy and pretty. We had a car, but enjoyed the ten-minute walk to an okay Chinese restaurant (Han Palace, not great, but not terrible), and a fifteen-minute walk from Africa Beach Hotel, where we liked the food and the service, and loved the oceanfront view. Communication with the owner was always easy, and she responded very quickly anytime I had yet another question. And her caretaker, who lives just next door, was always available for everything we needed, from checking in and out, to showing us how to use the keys, to putting the generator on when city power went out.

Dominic’s property provided us a peaceful and incredible ambiance for my family. We felt at home with lots of facilities like the swimming pool, tennis courts, etc. Close proximity to shopping centers and communities is great! Thank you Dominic for your excellent hospitality and proactively ensuring we settled in well and enjoyed our stay. Will recommend your property to anyone who wants a home away and peaceful location in Takoradi to consider your property.

I had an amazing stay at Rahama’s house! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and secure. The security team was highly professional and always available, ensuring a safe and peaceful environment throughout my stay. The cleanliness of the house was outstanding. The cleaners did a fantastic job of maintaining every corner, making the place feel fresh and inviting. It was clear that great attention to detail went into keeping the space spotless and comfortable. A special mention to the caretaker, who was incredibly helpful and responsive. They went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed and provided great recommendations for the area. Their hospitality truly made my stay even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a clean, secure, and well-managed place to stay, I highly recommend booking Rahama’s house. It’s perfect for a relaxing getaway, and I would definitely stay here again!
