Family-friendly vacation rentals in Gerroa

A very comfortable house for a family group in great location in Kiama Downs, walking distance to the shops and beach. Very nice amenities including the spa and a big terrace. Good yard for the dogs too.

The property was beautiful and easy to find with Nadja’s directions. The views from the bathroom were amazing and my wife and I were able to relax in the spa whilst looking at the landscape. The kitchen was well equipped, the place was tidy, the hosts were very nice and we would 100% stay again!

From the moment we arrived every detail about guest experience has been thought of. There are so many little, thoughtful details that truly make you feel so welcomed. My highlights were; meeting Greg who was putting the horses to bed and happy for us to wander up and have a chat and meet the animals. The two dogs Chum and Bundy were really friendly and up for a pat. Plus, the duck pond with the viewing platform and seat. So cute! The firepit had all the wood and was ready to go which I really regret not making the most of this. The personalised card, treats and breakfast was really sweet, and they provided tips on making the most of the claw foot bath tub. It's hard to find an AirBNB that still cares so much about guest experience. I thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the horses and alpacas in the paddock, and waking up in the morning with the view of the horses frolicking around. It's was an unreal experience that allowed us to unwind from our busy lives

Lovely welcoming place and the fire was lit when we arrived which was wonderful. Great place, clean had everything we needed. The only unfortunate thing was the traffic on main road at 4.30am on a Monday/Tuesday, may be different in the weekend but that was the only downfall. Everything else was amazing thank you

We really enjoyed our stay, so well located for the beach and also shops / restaurants. Comfortable beds and furnishings and great extras like sunscreen. Will stay again.

We had a great couple of days at Will's place. The dog absolutely loved the huge garden, and it's an easy walk to the dog friendly pub in town! Well worth the walk up to the seats on the hill at the back of the property for the magnificent view. The house is pretty dated but I think this is better when you have a dog (or kids). There is only one shower, but there are two separate toilets. Beds were very comfortable and we slept well. Thanks Will - we will be back!

A wonderful place in the country for a short break with the dogs for my daughter and her husband. I booked at very last minute due to the flooding in the mid north coast and Ellen and Tim were so responsive and accommodating accepting our booking so late and making it happen. They had been before and the experience was just as perfect - and super understanding of the dogs muddy feet due to all the rain. Thank you so much - we will be back again for longer next time.

Such a cozy and cute cottage for a peaceful, relaxing getaway. We loved staying here - seeing the horses and cows, and relaxing in the hot tub. Kate was very responsive as well for anything we needed.

We think the shack was an understatement it is beautifully furnished main bed is very comfortable a few little treats to go with it. The kitchen is well equipped, and plenty of space for the 3 of us a very large tv to chill out with and plenty of room for our four legged friend to make it her home as well inside & out. Short walk to surf life saving club with amazing views of the ocean. Central to many beautiful beaches & day trips. Renee & Jason are very accommodating and provided many local tips We loved this place.

From the moment my husband and I opened the door Rennie beach house felt like home ,stunning better than the photos. Everything is thought off plenty of room and area to relax unwind and enjoy quiet reading time and the sounds of ocean birds and just chilling this is the place. We have already recommend to friends and will return thankyou Thérèse for being an exceptional host.

Absolute 10/10 stay! Everything was perfect from the tiny details (robes, slippers, tea, milk, olive oil) to the things on offer (board games, yoga mats and snorkles). The house was beautifully designed and super clean, with absolutely everything we could have needed and more. We had such a good time, we ended up extending our stay for an extra night! Will be recommending to all friends and family. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks so much to Rob and Bede for the excellent staycation.

We had a lovely stay at Kylie’s place—it was very relaxing. The walk to the beach was nice and easy, and the local beach was perfect for our senior dog. We even had some wildlife visitors in the backyard, including beautiful birds and either wallabies or kangaroos, which was such a treat! Although it rained for almost our entire stay, we were more than happy to cozy up inside and play games by the fire.

Ingela's place is amazing, perfectly located, stunning views and so so relaxing. A perfect place to access the bay and the beach and we were so lucky to have beautiful weather and spectacular sun rises. The house is so peaceful and had plenty of room for our group of 7. We loved the front deck and the fire place, great kitchen for cook ups, and our puppy was very happy in this safe environment. Thanks for having us, we would definitely love to come back.

Lovely place to stay. Peaceful location a few steps to the beach and with many other places to visit a short drive away. Clean, comfortable and stylish house with plenty of space for our family group of five plus dog. We hope to return! Susan was also very helpful and friendly without being in any way intrusive.

I had a weekend away with 5 of my friends and we loved the home and the property. There was an array of herbs and citrus fruit we picked from the garden for our cooking. The garden was plentiful and fun to explore. The house was well equipped and we loved all the eco touches. We spent alot of time sitting by the fire and comfy couches. You don’t really need to leave

I highly recommend this property as it was stunning. My husband and I went away for two nights for a wedding and from the moment we walked into the door we felt so calm and both in awe at how beautiful the property was. So much thought has gone into this beautiful home and I think it’s one of our favourite spots we have stayed to date. The outside bath was our favourite along with the fireplace to help us relax. The host was great and check in was super easy. We could not fault one thing and we cannot to book again for a weekend reset. The perfect location for anyone wanting to slow down. We stayed as a couple but this place would be amazing to go with two other couples, a family or friends! Location was also great and walking distance into town.

We loved our stay! Airbnb was much better than it appears in the photos, bed was very comfortable and such a tranquil location. We loved chatting with Donna and meeting the horses on the property. Couldn’t have asked for a better Airbnb for a weekend getaway from Sydney!

Justin was an amazing communicator. He answered all my question s smaller amount of time and was wonderful in relaying places we should see.

Eva was a fantastic host who was very contactable, accommodating and SkyView villa had everything we needed for a great long weekend stay. We definitely would love to come back and make the most of the opportunities in the area when it is warmer too!

If you haven't stayed in Caroles cabin yet you're missing out. We absolutely loved our time there! Carole is a great host who went out of her way to make our stay perfect. The cabin is homely and has everything you could need. We spent our evenings playing board games of which there were plenty. During the days we walked around the grounds spotting all the Roos. The club house was a perfect spot to stop for a glass of wine after a nice walk or game of tennis, Carole provided rackets also. We really didn't want to leave. Definitely book this lovely getaway it's delightful :)
