What a perfect cottage!! Excellent spot for a peaceful getaway. Private garden and within walking distance to a few of the national park walks. The space is cosy and has everything you need. The reading/seating nook by the window is a 10/10 where the sun comes in and you can look out into the garden. Amber was a great host, accommodating and responsive. We had such a lovely two night escape at Jes's place. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We had our breakfast on the deck by the river in the morning sunshine - one of the highlights of our stay. The place was very comfortable, clean, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed for cooking, including a few things from her garden, which was a really thoughtful touch. Nico's place was great and definitely would recommend. it's small but cozy and got everything you need. Nico's also the first Airbnb host to have reached out to me after checking out to ask how everything was. They seem to really put a lot of thoughts into this place. And reading some of the earlier reviews showed that they listen to suggestions to improve their place. Bed was super comfortable, and there are a few pillows to choose from. The place does get cold in winter because the insulation isn't great, but turning the heating up solves the problem, and once you get underneath the covers it's all cozy. I love how the sink is nice and large for such a small place. And upon my arrival Nico has been so thoughtful as to leave Shin Ramen! Tea, coffee, sugar, as well as milk and water in the fridge. The towels are worn but good quality and very clean. The bathroom also has everything and is very clean. Overall the place is great and you pretty much have all you need for you stay.

A cute and cosy stay in an excellent and peaceful location surrounded by trees and a stones throw away from amazing beaches and walks. It was lovely to wake up to the sounds of birds. The stairs inside the house are steep, I had a little trouble getting up and down as a pregnant lady so keep that in mind. Super close to the train line fyi, frieghts can be heard from time to time. Also very comfy bed and had most things we needed however a couple of extra basics would have been helpful such as a colander, more stocked toilet paper, a lamp and baking dish. Thanks for having us!

Peter and Junie were the most welcoming and warm hosts we could have imagined. They accommodated our late arrival and were very attentative during our stay - and they have lots of great stories to share too!! The place was peaceful and quiet with amazing views from the balcony and walking distance to an amazing coffee and pastry shop (you have to go early to avoid the queues!). Their Garden Studio had everything you could need for your stay. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again.
