The Villa is beautiful. Everything in it was well thought out. We always look for privacy and we got it with this place. It’s located in a resort with restaurants that serves good food, spa, gym and many more. The staff is amazing, they care a lot and they create a comfy atmosphere.

Had an absolutely pleasant stay at Ayu‘s Villa. Ayu and her husband are super nice people and were always available and happy to help us out. Would definetly come back any time because you instantly feel very welcomed at the Place. The house is absolutely beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. We were traveling with a toddler, and it was a great place for kids, from the pool to the river and well-maintained gardens and paths. There was so much to do and see for the whole family. The house itself was luxurious, and the food was amazing and came in huge portions that were affordable. I highly recommend staying here, be it for a short outing from Bali or as a main travel destination. I am so glad I found Ericka's place and will definitely be visiting again soon.

We had a good stay with easy communication with the host.

We loved Villa Merah! Stayed here over Christmas and new years with our family and our two year old. The space is open and breezy and tastefully decorated with plenty of books. The garden is lovely and location very tranquil (even on New Year’s Eve!). The staff were wonderful and we really loved getting to know Iluh who made us breakfast each day. The neighborhood is quiet and off the beaten path but still close enough to all the travel amenities. We really enjoyed walking along the residential road. The villa is located on towards the main street and saying hello to all the neighbors and stopping in at the one or two warungs and a small coffee shop. The space is clean and lovely. The pool got a little green after three days of rain but I suppose that is to be expected during the rainy season. Overall excellent stay and if we’re ever in that part of the world again we will stay there!

I think we have found paradise! The clean, neat and romantic bungalows are surrounded by a junge-like garden with fruit, birds and butterflies. The garden is kept in lovely shape, the pool and bathroom are especially spectacular. There are some (not many) insects and lizards around, which I personally totally prefer over having everything poisoned. The dog mentioned in the ad is very quiet and friendly. This is totally a place where you can stay for longer. The vilage is lovely, very quiet, private and green as soon as you leave the main road.

We loved the Blue Gecko and Melaya. Above all, Ni has made this home a home. She cooks deliciously, has taken our wishes into account and gave us an insight into Balinese culture. We miss Ni already. Melaya is not very touristy (yet) and in April we were also there in the low season. It was so nice and quiet. Enjoyed the pool and the sea view very much. Nice to know: -Small supermarket in the village, "only" accessible by car -2 restaurants +1 bar in less than 10 min walking distance. One right next door (also brought us food to the villa) - Many free-roaming dogs and cats (as usual in Bali), also on the terrace (happy about food), probably all rabies vaccinated - in April very, a lot of garbage on the beach, swimming was not possible. will probably get better from May - In the evening/night garbage was burned on the beach, which smelled very strong in the house Thank you Ni for your kindness! We will be happy to come back!
