Vacation rentals in Genesee County

We were looking for a peaceful place to spend the weekend of our wedding. We wanted somewhere that felt like a mini getaway, that we could wake up and have coffee and feel at peace before our special day. Boy did we find it! The outside patio was so nice, the lanterns were so beautiful. Waking up and having coffee by the water was so relaxing. Also the snacks and drinks that were provided were so nice to have after the wedding. Thank you to the hosts for such a wonderful stay.

I really enjoyed my stay here and loved both the place and the town. If you're looking for a quiet, classic American neighborhood with everything conveniently close by, this is a great choice. The apartment is peaceful, spotless, and well-equipped with great amenities. One unique touch I appreciated was the collection of high-quality books in the library next to the TV—perfect if you enjoy reading. The space looks exactly like the pictures, so no surprises there! Elizabeth and Charles are fantastic hosts—super responsive and proactive when any issue arises, and their communication is excellent. I’d definitely stay here again whenever it's available. Highly recommended if you're visiting Michigan for business—just an 18-minute drive to GM Flint!

Tiffany was an ideal host. She gave clear instructions and was very responsive. The place was actually nicer than it appeared in pictures. The gas station across the street was perfect for grabbing something quick to drink or ice for our ice chest when leaving. We really enjoyed our stay, the cute town the home was in and how easy it was to get to all the towns we wanted to visit.

This hunting lodge in a barn was a great place to stay with our adult kids. It was very clean. Easy to check in, (but I would suggest trying to find it for the first time in the daylight). The host tied a ribbon on the mailbox to assist us with finding it in the dark. It was a good choice for our crew. We were impressed with the consistency of theme in decorating that even extended onto the patio in front. Well done.

We had a fantastic time. Wonderful location this place had everything we could ask for. TV in the bedrooms would have helped.

The decor and space of the home was cozy and very comfortable. Cheryl was very kind and left breakfast for us! We thought the treehouse would be a little closer to the house, (about an acre away from the main house) so my adult kids were not happy about being in a separate space entirely, especially with no bathroom. I thought it was darling though.

My husband and son had a wonderful stay! The home was very cozy and felt right at home! The power even went out during a storm and the generator turned on immediately!

Wonderful house it was beautiful had plenty of stuff for cooking! The sofa is absolutely amazing and comfy. Rooms were great! And the surroundings are very peaceful!!
