Cerro Castillo Shelter

Beautiful refuge 3 km from Villa Cerro Castillo, at the foot of the National Park. Walking distance to climbing routes, trekking and bicycle trails. The house is located in front of a lagoon that is formed with an arm of the Ibañez River, a preferred habitat of migratory birds (swans, flamingos, caiquenes, seven colors, royal duck, among others) It has a bedroom on the first floor, and a large space on the second floor. The bathroom is divided into 2 spaces, one for the shower and one for the toilet.

We are located just steps from the Ibáñez River, which you can get to know and explore along its banks. We are located approximately 30 minutes south of the town of Cerro Castillo and the use of a 4x4 vehicle is not necessary for your arrival (12 km of gravel road). Our mini shelter and our two dogs are also on the property. Andrés and I will be your hosts!

It is a town of 500 inhabitants. One of its main attractions is the Marble Chapel, a mineral formation of calcium carbonate on the shores of Lake General Carrera.
