Houseboat vacation rentals in Gelderland

Wij haden het geluk om tussen verhuizingen 6 weken door te mogen brengen op deze fantastische woonboot om het allermooiste plekje van Utrecht. We werden hartelijk welkom geheten met de nodige lekkernijen. Het contact met Els was erg prettig. De boot is ruim en licht en heeft een geweldig goed uitgeruste keuken voor de kookliefhebber. We hadden het niet beter kunnen treffen.

I really enjoyed my time on the houseboat. It is cosy and quite romantic. The only problem I had, was getting in and out of the shower. It is a bit of a tight squeeze and a big drop to the floor. So I hurt myself when using it. Apart from that, no other issues. Marco was available when I arrived at 1am to give me exact directions to the house boat over the phone. so that was good. Nice boat, nice location, nice owner, nice cats. I'd recommend it.

Das Hausboot war einfach schön. Mein Partner, mein Hund und ich waren über Silvester dort. Die Lage ist super zentral, trotzdem ruhig. Auf dem Sofa vor dem Kamin zu sitzen und aufs Wasser zu schauen, war einfach nur entschleunigend. Wir möchten gern bei besserem Wetter noch einmal Utrecht besuchen. Eine tolle Stadt!

We had a wonderful time at the boathouse. Honestly, it all exceeded our expectations: the boathouse itself, the cleanliness, the location, the view, the welcoming from Amanda! Thank you! We will be back!

We had a fantastic stay at Marco's houseboat in September 2024. We had fantastic weather, which was a huge plus for us, and allowed us to take advantage of the veranda area, outside, where we could chill and watch the wildlife on the water. The accomodation is nice and simple, and tastefully decorated. It was comfortable and warm. We didn't need any heating during our stay, but there is a wood pellet heater available. The toilet and shower cubicles are quite small, but as you would expect on a houseboat, and it wasn't a problem for us. Sleeping consists of two compartments, a single berth and a double directly opposite. Both have a curtain for privacy. Both berths were comfortable. The location is about one mile away from the village centre, so about a 20 minute walk, or 5 minutes in the car. Great supermarket there, along with pizza place and other cafes and nice bars. Very chilled place. We loved our stay, and would consider visiting again.

Awesome spot to explore Nijmegen. The boat is lovely and it is such a nice place to come back to after visiting the city. Just staying there is like a dream as well. Really admire the style and originality of the place. Thanks for having us Nikie!

Es war sehr schön, ein tolles Hausboot, und lauter freundliche Leute in der Umgebung. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt, und hoffen wiederzukommen. Thijs ist sehr freundlich gewesen und hat uns immer gleich zurückgeschrieben wenn wir eine Frage hatten. Tolle Unterkunft!

Luc and Lonneke’s home is beautiful and just as described. They provided helpful info on how to reach their home by public transport. They were really flexible with check in and check out. We loved the peaceful residential location with easy access to Utrecht centre. The canal side location is fantastic we would love to return soon.

wir (4 Personen) haben uns im Hausboot von Jules sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Hausboot ist ausreichend groß und gut ausgestattet. Es ist alles genau wie beschrieben mit sehr gutem Parkplatz direkt am Boot. Das Hausboot ist sehr zu empfehlen. Es ist ein etwas anderer Urlaub. wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Helt fantastiskt boende! Så mysigt att bo precis vid vattnet. Välstädat och rent. Alltid snabba svar om vi undrade något. Var så fint att vi fick skjuts till tågstationen när vi missat att bussen inte gick

Staying on the White Feather Suite was an absolute dream and definitely a weekend we will never forget. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The location was serene and peaceful, with beautiful views of the canal. The boat itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, tranquil and incredibly cosy. Every detail was thoughtfully designed—from the cozy bedroom, spa like bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. We especially loved waking up to the gentle rocking of the water and having our morning coffee on the deck. Vera and George were amazing hosts —super friendly, responsive, and went out of their way to make sure we had a perfect stay, even surprised us with birthday cake and gifts on arrival. This was one of the most unique stays we've ever had and definitely one for the books. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with a touch of adventure, this houseboat is the place to go. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit von 72 Stunden auf dem Boot! Es war wirklich ein tolles Erlebnis! 🚤✨

Wunderschönes Hausboot in ruhiger Lage. Hübsch und stilvoll eingerichtet, mit allem an Ausstattung, was zum täglichen Leben benötigt wird. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in max 5 Minuten mit dem Auto Erreichbar. Für unser Empfinden tolle Lage, weil weder Amsterdam, noch Rotterdam, usw. weit entfernt liegen. Wir würden definitiv wieder kommen, wenn es uns Mal wieder in die Niederlande verschlägt.

Very unique and memorable experience. We had a lovely time with our two children and little dog, found everything we needed. Restaurants, shops, and nice walking routes were all within short distance by foot. There was even a swimming beach for dogs! 😊

Eine traumhafte Unterkunft in der man mit bestem Ausblick die Seele baumeln lassen kann. Sandra und ihr Mann sind super nette, zuvorkommende Gastgeber.

Love this boathouse very much and wanna own one like that ! Super close to nearby restaurants and walkable distance to the little village where it has supermarkets and great restaurants for western food It is also easy to reach the windmill volendam Edam… worth the money and the sunrise and sunrise can be seen clearly on the boathouse lying on sofa . Nice chill out with a cup of coffee
