Charming Cosy rooms, home from home guest house.

We spent 2 nights in Michelle's lovely home whilst we were visiting family in Manchester. The rental unit is located at the front of the house and the owners live at the rear. You enter via the main front door (which is just used by guests) and then straight into the lovely spacious sitting room which has a very comfy sofa and a big smart TV........perfect for cosy evenings in. From the sitting room, there is a staircase to the upstairs, where the double bedroom, office and bathroom are located. All very clean and well kept. The small fridge in the office is useful. There is a dedicated parking spot just opposite the house. Michelle and Pete are very welcoming and hospitable hosts and communication was excellent. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return again when visiting family.

I stayed at Pam & Ron's place over the May Day Bank Holiday weekend. I'm a regular guest at their place and they always make me feel very welcome. I arrived quite late due to a delayed train but they were flexible on my check-in time. The fridge had some supplies ready for me which was a nice touch. The room is ideal for my needs, comfortable bed and decent shower along with plenty of utensils in the well equipped kitchenette area. Romiley is a nice village with coffee shops, small supermarket, pubs and restaurants. There are public transport options to Manchester, Stockport, Sheffield and the Peak District plus canal walks and country parks nearby.

This is a beautifully converted stable with everything you need. Everything is like new. It’s a quiet area, only a short walk into town with nice parks near by. Coffee, tea milk salt pepper shampoo shower gel hand wash all provided and the Fresh flowers, cookies and chocolates were a nice touch! There’s some great places to eat in Stalybridge and it’s also easy to commute to Manchester if that’s what you’re looking for. Thank you for a lovely stay 😊
