House vacation rentals in Garrett County

Our experience was wonderful. My daughters, S-I-Ls, and grandsons immensely enjoyed the indoor pool, arcade games and multiple large screen TVs, as well as the many recreational activities in the Deep Creek Area. This house was the best provisioned rental either I or my daughters’ families have ever stayed in, especially the kitchen with a full complement of utensils, spices, coffee pods, etc. as well as a S’mores gift basket. There were 13 of us and there was never a crowded moment. We all highly recommend this property for family vacations.

Everything was phenomenal. Plenty of space to maneuver and have gatherings with loved ones.

Great location for going to wisp, a lot of great space in the actual are bnb. Since it’s through a rental company it’s a little different than a true air bnb but overall would recommend

Perfect place for a ski weekend! Lots of room, extremely convenient location near grocery store and resort.

Beary Fine was a great vacation home for us. Quiet, wouldn't have thought it was even vacation season. Great views and accommodations. Easy walking distance to the assigned dock slip for when we rented a pontoon boat. Short distance to horse back riding at Circle R Ranch. The house location was perfect for us. Not right on the water but within walking distance. Houses right on the water had a lot of foot traffic in the back yards taking privacy away to some degree as people walked along the waters edge in their backyards. Swackvacations would be our first choice in renting a home for vacation in the future. Best experience compared to some of the other rental agencies in the area.

This house was everything and more. We were very pleased. The rooms were very big and spacious and extremely comfortable. We loved the home and wished we could have stayed longer. I would recommend this home for a large family that needs the space. We had a problem with the temperature in the pool and owner came out personally and fixed it. They are very accommodating to their guests. We will definitely be back !!!

The house was exactly as pictured. My children loved it and would like for me to reserve it again. They were kind of freaked out by some of the furniture exactly matching our homes furniture, the dining room and some of the bedrooms. I loved the hibachi grill, it was easy to cook for a large group. I would definitely stay in this home again.

The place was great for my family of 6. The house was very comfortable and family oriented. Tons of games, a great fire pit and hot tub. Carole was extremely responsive to questions I had before and during our stay. We would definitely recommend the house.

Dang’s place quickly became our second home! Not only is his place at the heart of the nature, Dang also is a great host. He’s proactive and communicates really well.

Owner(s) were very responsive and accommodating. Home is in an excellent location; close to many attractions.

We had such a pleasant stay at Lisa’s place! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Lisa was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We truly felt at home and appreciated all the thoughtful touches throughout the space. Highly recommend Lisa’s Airbnb and would love to stay here again!

The house was exactly as described. Beautiful peaceful and private. The bottom floor was not accessible but the upper floor had plenty of space. We loved the screened in porch! They even have the floor screened underneath so that bugs can’t get in. The ceiling fans and windows kept the place cool enough where we didn’t need AC.

Our family met up here for the holiday weekend. Very nice quiet location and great accommodations. Cabin was very clean and well equipped. Would definitely stay here again. Very enjoyable weekend!

Beth’s home was a beautiful spot for a girls getaway weekend! Our trip happened to fall on a super snowy weekend, but Beth was super helpful with having a plow come before we arrived to clear the driveway. We spent most of the weekend in the home due to the weather, but we enjoyed every minute of it in this super cozy place that had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay! The place was clean and comfortable and had everything we might need. The light pollution is much lower than in the city where I'm used to, so stargazing in the hot tub was an unexpected pleasure. The only downside was that we didn't realize that in the winter when the trees are bare, the balcony with the hot tub is quite visible from the road and the farm across the street, so it felt less private than we had hoped.

This place is beautiful and very spacious! We went with a group of 7 and everyone loved it. When we had any questions the host was very quick to respond and very kind. They jumped right in to help us with whatever we needed. Would recommend to anyone and would stay again!

My weekend stay at the lake side house was absolutely amazing! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the lake access with a dock. We spent our days fishing and managed to catch over 20 fish - it was such a fun and relaxing experience. The house itself was cozy and well-equipped, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. I would definitely love to visit again sometime in the future. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

James’ place was even cozier/homier than pictured. Our large family met up for a snow tube weekend, and we couldn’t have asked for a better spot. We loved hanging out on the main floor (where we prepped big meals, played games, and watched movies), although there was plenty of space to spread out. We had small children with us, and the master loft room was perfect for them to get a quiet night of rest while the rest of us enjoyed the cozy accommodations by the living room fireplace. The finished basement was also large and quiet which helped my BIL who needed to study for his P.A. Program while away. We also enjoyed going for a walk to the nearby brewery/pizza spot, were within minutes from Wisp and a Catholic Church we attended, and were overall so impressed with James, his high-quality care, and the beautiful space. My FIL enjoyed the nice finish of the floors/cabinetry, etc. that made you feel like this was a well taken care of home, not just a cheaply fixed home ready for renters.

Greg and Pia’s house was absolutely perfect! We’ve stayed at Airbnb’s all across the 50 states and this was the cleanest and most well stocked home we have ever been in! Everything was absolutely spotless. We had the fireplace up and running everyday - it was perfect for our rainy spring stay. It was so cozy! The home is very private and secluded in the woods with an amazing pine lined trail down to the lake access. Our dog absolutely loved being outside and the trail was perfect for our morning walks. Absolutely cozy and perfect. Will definitely stay again!

My family rented out this home for Thanksgiving! The kitchen for the purpose of cooking Thanksgiving dinner was wonderful and had everything we needed. The layout of the home is so well thought out and the finishings are luxurious. The view from the inside looking out at the lake was beautiful for cold and blustery days.

The Big Boulder Retreat cabin was perfect for my mini getaway. Not only was the cabin tucked away in a safe, gated community, but it had everything I could possibly need. The beds were extremely comfortable, the shower provided wonderful hot water and the kitchen was fully stocked. Being able to utilize the outdoor fire pit was the perfect ending to a day of hiking. As a first time visitor to the Deep Creek area, I really appreciated how central the cabin was to everything I wanted to visit. It was extremely close to Swallow Falls & Herrington Manor state parks, as well as, the town of Oakland. It was about a half hour to Deep Creek Lake and some of the local breweries. As a solo traveler, I felt very taken care of by Rick. He was quick to respond to my messages and answer any questions I had. This cabin is a rare gem… with its unique decor and peaceful location, I’m truly grateful I came across this listing. I hope to return in the near future.

The cozy cottage was a wonderful stay! There was a light rain and big chill our entire visit that kept us off the trails. Thankfully the indoor fireplace and hot tub were there to keep us entertained at home. The kitchen was perfect for cooking together and the bath tub was almost as nice as the hot tub. Will have to return to enjoy the outdoor fire pit and explore the beautiful neighborhood!

The location is a short drive away from the Deep Creek activities. This can be a bonus if you were looking for a more nature based stay or a con if you wanted to be more in the mix. The house has the right amenities to enjoy the outdoors and is spacious. The kitchen is bigger than expected and the grills were great. The basement was a bit damp and the games were all well loved but honestly it wasn't a big deal. You can take peaceful walks to access water. Had a great time and this house was exactly as advertised.

Super cozy and convenient! My family loved this place. We booked the Airbnb to attend a weekend of Bobcat baseball games and it was perfect. The house is charming, fully equipped to host family dinner after the games, and is close to Frostburg State as well as Main Street shops and restaurants. Highly recommend for other Frostburg State families!
