Vacation rentals with lake access in Garrard County

My husband and I and another couple stayed at The Blue Heron for a long weekend, hoping to get some golf in. Shelly was helpful prior to our arrival with grocery and dinner suggestions. We were able to find the place with no problems and had easy access to get in. Very quiet location. Did not see anyone the entire stay. The main house was the perfect size for 4 people. Living room/kitchen provided enough space for us all to be together. The deck would have be great space with the fire pit and outdoor seating. We just happened to come during a 4 day nonstop rain. Which did make for great sleeping. The boathouse provided space for the couple we came with. It had a queen bed, small sitting area bathroom and a great view. The main house had a great loft for the other bedroom. The bed and pillows were amazing. Although we did not get one round of golf in, we did find fun things to do in Lexington. It was very relaxing and we look forward to coming back when the weather is better/warmer.

Perfect place to get together with friends! The house has everything you need for a great weekend including numerous fun spaces for entertainment. Highlights are definitely the two large private outdoor decks with superb views and the massive kitchen with top notch appliances and counter space. The host was very responsive which is always appreciated. Highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Patricia’s cabin! The surroundings were gorgeous and the cabin was so cute! Perfect spot on the water!

Our stay at this lake house was absolutely amazing! The home was clean, very spacious, and well maintained. Amy was fantastic—super responsive and always helpful whenever we had questions. She replied quickly and made sure we had everything we needed for a smooth and enjoyable stay. The location was beautiful, and we had a great time enjoying the amazing dock. We really had a blast using the kayaks provided. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat or a fun weekend with friends and family, this place is a perfect choice. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful three night stay over Easter weekend. The house was beautiful, everything is brand new and spotlessly clean. The location is peaceful and beautiful. We drove less than 20 minutes to Danville where there were several very nice shops and restaurants as well as a great bakery. Hosts were extremely responsive and everything was as described.

The back deck is incredible. We didn’t want to leave because it was such a tranquil oasis.

This home is very cute. It is on a quite and secluded part of the lake. No wakes, and nearly no boats coming and going. It was very quite and peaceful. The dock was beautiful and they had everything well stocked.. towels, life jackets very well stocked for all ages, and floats. I would recommend this place to friends.

We had 3 couples exploring the Bourbon Trail and friendships. It was a perfect place for us. The view was beautiful. We made each other dinner one night along with some old fashioneds and talked and laughed. We knew we’d have a little drive to some of the distilleries but that was half the fun. Thanks for contributing to our memories!
