Thank You Frederic and family for sharing with us your beautiful home, the Tiki House. Frederic met us at Tiki House with a warm welcome and showed us around the beautiful little house and his lovely gardens! The home has several small touches to make it a lovely and comfortable place to stay. We wished our plans had allowed for a longer stay. It is private and quiet, comfortable air conditioning and comfortable bed. The breakfast provided was out of this world!! Everything about the stay was perfect in every way!! It is a blessing to stay in a place owned and cared for by a local. You can feel the warmth and love they have for their island and their home. Thanks again and hopefully someday we will be back.

Our favourite stay this time in Moorea. Mimi’s bungalow is a gem and well worth staying at. The amenities are carefully thought out and the bungalow is beautifully furnished. Mimi has thought of everything you need and it makes for an amazing time. The surroundings are lush and peaceful, and the best part is that you can hear the waves crashing when you sit out in the patio. Mimi is a responsive and helpful host and I highly recommend her. Maururu Mimi!

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The house is beautiful. The beds were the most comfortable we slept in our entire trip to French Polynesia. The pool was much needed after hot days exploring the island. The host was excellent about communicating with us, and even offered to do a mid week clean when my parents decided to stay longer. I would definitely stay here again!

Tiki Beach, Pool & Breakfast "te Moana"

Tiki Beach was an amazing experience! We did have troubles initially finding the location based on the address that was provided. My suggestion would be to search "Tiki Beach Moorea" on Google Maps to get the best directions on how to get there. Once we got there, the place was beautiful. Poe and Florida were incredibly hospitable and kept the whole property pristine while we were there. The bungalows are cute, cozy and clean. The pool and lounge area were incredibly relaxing, and listening to the waves crash while reading a book in the lounger was one of the highlights of my trip. The Motu Grill was only about a two minute walk down the road from Tiki Beach. The fish burger was the best meal we ate the whole time we were visiting French Polynesia. We cannot recommend it enough!! Overall, our experience was wonderful, and we hope to return with a group of friends in the coming years to relive the memories all over again! :)

We had a great time at Matairii's place. The villa is spacious and well-equipped, perfect for a family. It is located near the beautiful beach of Temae, it is accessible from a fairly poorly paved road but passable if you drive slowly. The nearby airfield is not a problem, traffic is very limited. The neighbor's dogs have calmed down, not a sound at night. An adorable little cat guards the house. Matairii is an attentive and friendly host. I highly recommend and will not hesitate to come back on my next stay!

We loved this central location to explore the island from. Benjamin is a wonderful host and communicates well. I felt very welcome and well cared for. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Tiki Beach! They graciously allowed us an early check in after a red eye flight and we were delighted by the simple elegance of the compound. Poe was a delight and greeted us each morning with a wonderful breakfast. Fantastic location near Temae Beach and off of the main busy road. The sound of the surf creates a white noise so the airplanes were never an issue. Beautifully designed rooms - you’ll be delighted!

Maria and Kevin and family have a beautiful home in a protected garden where there are bananas and pomelos and you feel surrounded by the beauty of Nuku Hiva nature. They are warm and helpful, picked me up and drove me to wherever I needed to go and were very flexible with my planning, and gave great recommendations for what I needed from the town and where to go on the island. They also offer excursions and car rental to see different parts of the island. This is a place to stay to see a local life, with kids and animals, and family around. I felt so lucky to see this side of the Polynesians and felt so welcome in their home. I can highly recommend!

It’s hard to know where to begin. Clement was truly one of the finest hosts we've encountered. His communication was both proactive and thorough, which proved to be extremely beneficial for us as newcomers to the island. The location is tranquil and easily accessible. If Clement extends an offer to prepare dinner or breakfast for you, don’t hesitate to accept. It was one of the best meals we've enjoyed on our travels. If looking to fish, ask Clement to connect you with Nui on the island, he was an amazing guide for us!

We stayed for six nights, and we were very satisfied with our time here. Our check-in went very smoothly. Barthelemy and Nathalie were wonderful checking us in as well as checking in with us throughout our time when we had questions. They are amazing people. This place is close to the water. One observation is that the street can get a bit noisy from time to time with street traffic. Amazing value

Mata and Hiti are incredibly warm and welcoming hosts. It was like staying at the home of a friend, from the warm welcome to the delicious breakfasts with homemade jam and juice. Their modern home has spectacular views of the mountains and we enjoyed walking through their land up the valley to a waterfall, where we took a dip. The beach at the lagoon is short walk away. My two adult daughters and my stepdaughter all enjoyed learning about Tahitian culture and food from Mata and Hiti and also hearing stories of Teahupoo as a global surf spot. We appreciated all their local recommendations and someday hope to return to also hire Hiti as a hiking guide. It was a memorable visit to a special place.

We had a lovely stay. Claude gave us a warm welcome. The house is convenient and offers a beautiful environment. It is very well-equipped and the children were able to enjoy the books and games present during the rain.

One of the newer and prettiest cabin you can get on island, and we been to many. The only downside we had was road to get there - dirt road with many holes from rain, elevated car would be best to have, everything else was what we expected or better. You can go to ocean in front just not to swim, only to plunge in and enjoy waves. Couple time small shark swimed by getting stuck in shallow water.
