Vacation rentals in Franklin County

Loved the house and grounds. Close to area we turkey hunt in. Green Acres Restaurant had great burgers and breakfast buffet. Next door Green Acres Pizza had one of the best Supreme pizzas we ever had! Very friendly staff. We will book again. We were there for turkey season. Great location for hunting and Lake Pomona is close by.

Beautiful place and had everything we needed! Great hosts, very nicely decorated, and very clean. The ladder to the loft was not for all of us. If you're leary of heights at all, don't plan to sleep up there. Those that made it up thought the space was very cool and cozy!

Susan was a great host! She responded quickly to my questions and was more than accommodating with my plans to stay in a yurt. This is the second time in my life. She greeted us when we arrived and gave an explanation about the property…. Including the history. I love that stuff. There is a barn that has WiFi and some other amenities. It’s not a long walk. The yurt is pretty much like staying in a very large tent, but nicer. It was a quick trip. I wish we could have stayed longer. I would love to go back with my family when we can. Thanks, Susan!

Very spacious and roomy stay. It feels like two houses, minus a kitchen on the bottom floor. Home was clean, tastefully decorated and served our needs perfectly. The surrounding acreage is great to explore with near by pond as well. Most everything you could need is available to make you stay comfortable and fun too.

This home was so cozy. It was very clean and the area was so peaceful. We had a great stay here. If we are scheduled to be back here again I would look for availability here again. The host is super nice and very responsive. She is even going out of her way to mail back a ring that my daughter forgot in the shower. How NICE is that!!!!! Thank You!

We love it here so much. This is our second trip to Black Barn and we always have a blast. The firepits are awesome, the kitchen is so big and well equipped, the furniture is all very comfortable. The place is always very clean. It's so cool to go on nature walks. I mean this place is so big and private and amenable, you really can do whatever you like here. We tend to do big bonfires with dancing and music, board game nights at the big dining room table, naps in all areas, and big collaborative breakfasts. But, I have to shout out Heidi for being the absolute best host we've ever had. She is delightful to speak with. She clearly has a passion for what she does and cares about the customer experience. She is very responsive and polite. We just absolutely adore her. We will most certainly be back. ParkView house is so charming! Our family enjoyed having a cozy space to spend a little extra time together during our son’s wedding weekend. The home is in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood, yet convenient location. Christy has thought of everything with the little amenities this home offers. Wonderful host! We would highly recommend her home to anyone needing a few nights in Ottawa! ~ Thank you from the Osborn family!
