16th-century stone house with vaulted ceilings overlooking the sea. A contemporary of the Duomo and the Passari tower, it probably hosted the crusaders leaving for the Holy Land. Today our family is committed to bringing these buildings back to life, to give you a comfortable and unrepeatable stay, a unique experience, with an amazing view of the Adriatic, in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, enjoying the true taste of Puglia. Historic villa and pool set amongst ancient olives

A masseria (farmhouse) built in the 17th century and set amongst ancient olive trees with a walled citrus garden, the main house has been recently restored. The large garden is framed by stone walls and contains 800 year old olive trees, figs, Carob trees, grapes and more. A pool and outdoor kitchen is being constructed (work in progress photos from early March 2025 are included). Work will be completed by May 2025.

We have created a mini Suite in the Sassi, trying to keep intact the charm of the homes used by the Matera farmers. Both the flooring and the furnishings are of minimal impact and size. In our bathroom, you will find all the amenities that will make your stay a five-star one. The pillows and mattress are hypoallergenic and very comfortable, to make you rest at your best and be ready to visit beautiful Matera.
