Good place to stay and rest..

Calvin and Becky were really hospitable. They made sure I had the right directions with helpful calls. The directions are clear cut. The housing is on the road but for a new person in the locale, this is helpful. Don’t forget the food! I was never hungry or out of options with their opt in meals. Really delicious! The place was well kept. The lawns are amazing to get the morning and evening sun. It is quiet. The country telecoms have lousy coverage in the location apart from some spots but WiFi provided works great. Definitely, going back.

The cottage on the outskirts of the world is a unique and decelerating experience. The views from the terrace are breathtaking. Julia is a great host who always has tips and supports you on trip planning and exploration. It was great to get an insight into the charitable work by the Kuza Omuto association and to participate directly (craft and play with the kids) and that part of the accommodation costs are used as a donation is simply brilliant. We will be back!

Everyone should visit Becky’s apartments, it real brings out the feeling of modern vacation, place is quite, has fresh air, and the people there are rilly so accommodating, it has a nice view, and its not far from the city, the apartments are also nice, nice ambiance and really so good to be there!

Calvin is very responsive and was helpful when checkin. He made sure that we had everything that we needed to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The team on the ground is also very helpful and jolly. The house is 12 mins from almost everything in FortPortal. I would highly recommend

We came with three kids and were a bit nervous about being off the beaten path — but this place turned out to be a gem. The garden is like a wonderland, the house is well-equipped (we cooked pancakes in the morning!), and everyone — especially Arali and Brenda the caretakers — made sure we were safe and comfortable. The rooms are charmingly rustic, though you should know that there’s no hot water on demand. You can ask for it to be heated, but we actually ended up enjoying the cool morning rinse — it woke us up better than coffee. :) There’s currently no direct way to reach the lake, which was a small letdown for our kids. But with all the other experiences — the theatre night with Rayka, the drumming, the monkeys — they didn’t even remember this by the end! Its a very unique place - go check it out!

My partner and I have been coming to Uganda for long stays over the last few years, and this was most wonderful and authentic Airbnb experience so far. JPs stylish cabin is nestled inside a community that feels very peaceful, surrounded by nature and with a wonderful view of the Rwenzori mountains. yet you can get to the city of Fort Portal in a 15-20 minute boda or car ride. Meeting JP was also one of the highlights of this stay. He is very warm, friendly and great to chat to. He is very responsive and quickly available. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and pleasant. When we informed JP we would be working remotely in the cabin during our 2 week stay he quickly installed a WiFi router and upgraded the solar electricity installation to accommodate us. Highly recommend booking this place during your visit to Fort Portal for a truly pleasant and unique stay!

I had a great stay at Bavaria Homes (the blue one) in Fort portal. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The home was well furnished with all necessary supplies. Its location was abit tricky to find, I’m hoping that they can put up a signpost in the future. If you’re animal phobic, they’re three dogs that reside there, it wouldn’t be ideal. But if you love animals that’s the place to be since the hosts are animal friendly. The home has excellent views of the Rwenzori ranges and other beautiful landscapes. This can be seen on the terrace of the house. Overall this home is worth your money.

BLT residence is a lovely place, and there are many reasons to want to stay there again. I spent three nights there, in the beautiful home set in the foothills of Mount Rwenzori, with my wife and three young sons. The boys immediately felt at home, running through the landscaped garden and, later, asking if we could stay longer. The place is looked after by a kind caretaker who was very responsive and answered our questions or helped us get things we needed to buy from a nearby shop. Della herself was very responsive from the beginning. The home is located near Rwenzori Founders, a world-famous art center and sculpture gallery. I strongly recommend this property to travelers visiting the Rwenzori region, especially to those traveling as a small group. There is no home in Kasese that’s more tranquil — and more affordable — than BLT residence.

Fun Ville is a hidden gem in the lush green town of Fort Portal, Uganda. The property is quiet, private, and very relaxing. The host was wonderful and always ready to assist. Amenities are close by, making it super convenient. Absolutely loved the stay—highly recommend for a peaceful getaway!
