Great Malvern and the Three Counties Show-ground are 20 minutes and Cheltenham - home of the Gold Cup and literature and jazz festivals - is around 30 minutes.

Woodland View

This stylish space is located half way up Symonds Yat Rock. For those who love walking park your car up and don’t get in it again until it’s time to leave. Turn left out of the gates and you are on the footpath down to “The Chalet” which has been used for filming on the Netflix series Sex Education. Carry on down the footpath and you are straight onto the Peregrine walk or cross the river and access the Wye Valley walk. Enjoy excellent food at the Saracens Head sat overlooking the river Wye.

It is overlooking the unique village of Sheepscombe with fantastic panoramic views over the village and surrounding National Trust beechwoods. This rural retreat is a walkers paradise, dog friendly with close access into the woods behind and near to the Laurie Lee way in the Slad Valley. Our space is a self contained studio with a bed, sofa, workspace and air con, light and airy it is the ideal base to explore the Stroud Valleys. N.B. THERE IS BUILDING WORK ON OUR HOUSE, THE ANNEXE IS A SEPARATE BUILDING BUT CLOSE TO OUR HOUSE. WORK WILL BE MON-FRI ONLY, BUT THERE WILL BE BUILDING MATERIALS AND MESS IN THE GARDEN. The interior of the annexe will be unaffected, but we have reduced the price to reflect the substandard exterior. Please only book if you understand this.

The Nest At Walnut Tree Farm

Relax and enjoy a stay on a smallholding in Herefordshire. The guest suite, including shower room is on the first floor, with own entrance and stairs. On the landing is a small area with facilities to make your own breakfast, including microwave and three quarter size fridge. Guests have use of a small patio area at front. Off road parking. Hosts live in the main house. The accommodation is on the edge of a village so no street lighting. Village shop and local pub in walking distance.

Modern Hayloft in Cotswolds

The hayloft is very old but we have converted it into a 2 bed suite (one double bed & one big round bed on the mezzanine) with a 'shed bathroom' and a large lounge. It is on top of part of our own house (above the kitchen) but has a separate private entrance and a door onto the garden. There is no kitchen facility - think hotel rooms rather than self catering! It is right in the heart of the village a couple of hundred metres from good restaurants, ancient pubs and independent shops.
