We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful mountain house. The views are amazing, and Berit did a great job giving very clear instructions on how to navigate the mountain on the way up. She made sure ahead of time that we had vehicles suitable for the drive which was very appreciated. She checked in with us throughout the weekend just to make sure there was nothing we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of towels/blankets available, and overall was just a wonderful stay. There is a winery, Chateau Morrisette, which was only about 15 minutes away that was really fun to visit, and Floyd is a very cute, friendly town. I would definitely stay here again. Thx for great hospitality Rosalie and Chris! We had all meals outside and the kids ended up playing outside and exploring nature uninterrupted for our entire stay (what more can you ask for?) and we had some incredible wildlife experiences at dusk&dawn with all the animals coming out👌😊

Our stay at Rebecca's was perfect from start to finish. There was good communication and the Airbnb was as described. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. The Riverview trail, just a 5-minute walk away, is a beautiful walk. The home was not only clean but also well-equipped with everything we needed. We especially loved the cozy living room downstairs where we spent our evenings. Rebecca's hospitality was exceptional, and we were thrilled with every aspect of our stay. Thank you, Rebecca, for making our stay so wonderful. We highly recommend Rebecca's place and would love to stay here again. We are grateful for the wonderful experience.

The only thing missing were binoculars!!! What a beautiful, serene place! The four of us had such a good time! The highlight was visiting Tom Wynn’s Cobb Hill Alpaca Farm!! This home is so well built and cared for…everything worked and was up to date. We’ll definitely come again!!

This place is very high vibe and peaceful. And the bed is really comfy. The views are awesome and the pond nearby really takes it up a notch. We loved it!!

This was a very clean home that was close to interstate to navigate the area.

Lovely and spacious place, walkable to so many great things in Floyd. The house was clean and well-equipped. We loved spending time in the backyard with the fire pit too.

The land around the cabin was gorgeous, a great place for our dogs to run and play. The cabin had a really cool vintage vibe with a wonderful screened in porch that was perfect for reading and relaxing with the calming sounds of nature. The Smith River a great place for fishing was within a 10 minute drive. Would definitely love to make this an annual trip destination.

This place was the absolute best! Very clean, plenty of towels that were super nice, beds and pillows were super comfy. My grand girls ( 4 and 5) loved the pond and feeding the fish. We also enjoyed seeing a young buck just a few feet away walking back to the house from the pond. If we ever have the opportunity to book again we definitely will. April was super friendly and quick to respond. I highly recommend staying with her if you are in the area.

This place has such high ratings for a reason... it's perfect! My mom and I escape annually to a quiet place to rest and this was our best yet. It was right on the river and ultra quiet (while not feeling isolated) which was perfect for relaxation. We loved sitting at the river's edge or on the 2 porches, the house is exactly as pictured and has thoughtful amenities- a full coffee station, bath items, plenty of towels, tissues- which many BnBs forget. It was so thoughtful, charming and relaxing, we loved our stay here. We walked around Hillsville some and stopped at New River SP on the way in, but our time was best spent cooking, relaxing on the patios, hanging down by the river or in the river and enjoying the scenery which was stunning. Great trip, saw lots of deer, would definitely love to be back!

Absolutely beautiful location! Perfect home for our nephews college graduation. We spent most of the days outside on the deck overlooking the peaceful lake. The entire home was comfortable and welcoming. We especially liked the record player in the living room. Would love to visit this home in the fall to see the foliage. Charming and secluded cabin with beautiful views! Was comfortable and cozy. Lindsay was so helpful and responsive. We really enjoyed our weekend stay!

Crystal’s house was the perfect place to stay with our extended family. We had some rain and so ended up staying more in the house than we thought we would and there was plenty of space to play games and hang out with the family. There was something for everyone from the outside patio areas to the trampoline and game room. We highly recommend staying here!

Alina's place was a gem! We were in town for Virginia Tech's graduation and while it was a bit of a drive to and from Blacksburg it was nice to be away from all of the hustle and bustle in town. The house is beautiful, the beds are comfortable and the surroundings are gorgeous!

This place was an absolute dream come true. I have been feeling so stressed out from life and 2 days here with my pup and I feel like a new woman. The location is absolutely breathtaking. We saw deer and turkeys and had a blast fishing at the pond. We caught about 10 fish in 2 days. I will absolutely be back. The hosts made us feel right at home and had all the special touches to make me feel like the most important guest!

We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating—allowing us both an early check-in and a late check-out, which made our trip much more relaxed. The house was so well-stocked that we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. They even provided helpful local recommendations that enhanced our experience. Our kids had a blast! In my daughter’s words: “There were so many things to do, and the children enjoyed a lot. The house had everything we needed—better than the pictures! We loved the grill, the hot tub, and especially the amazing game room. The ping pong table was a big hit!” Overall, this was one of our best Airbnb experiences. Highly recommended for families looking for comfort, convenience, and fun!

The Copper Buffalo A-Frame was a wonderful place to stay for our weekend getaway to attend a wedding. We had plenty of space, the house was clean and well stocked and the views are breathtaking! We took lots of photos :-) Thank you for letting us stay in your majestic place.

I had the most wonderful stay at Bliss Cabin, to say the least. From the initial photos of the writing desk and yoga deck, to the curious graveled path winding around the property lined with life and decorative details, I was totally immersed in the love and care that was so palpably present! Kathryn & Luke were absolutely lovely, so helpful, and incredibly accommodating! My recommendations while on the property: build and tend to a fire. Journal at the writing desk while playing Miles Davis. Take an early cold plunge in the river, do a round of Wim Hof breathing, then run up to take a hot shower at their beautiful abode. Chat with Luke, have tea with Kathryn. Do yoga on the deck. Say hello to the frogs. Express your inner musician with their drums and sound bowls. Let your soul free here!

The place was beautiful, well maintained and had everything we needed as guests that could have forgotten during our packing. Amazing location for a weekend in nature! I do not generally leave reviews but the service and communication for this location was beyond outstanding. I had a tough arrival, many things had happened during my travel day that already had me off edge. When I Arrived at "the location",I was so overwhelmed I overlooked the signs and my frustration did not allow me to take the time to look and find the house. However, I called the phone number provided and despite my not so friendly approach at the moment, the host on the other end of the phone kept calm and guided me all the way till I got through the door. The host then took the time to call again a few hours later to ensure everything was ok and that I was feeling better. They went the extra mile to ensure our safety and to effectively and promptly communicate and thats more than expected.

My new favorite place to stay! Absolutely gorgeous and Jodee was so nice! The side by side was a huge plus. The area, the yurt was breathtaking! 10/10 recommended. I will definitely be back!
