Had a fabulous 2 nice stay. So peaceful for our much needed R&R. This was our second visit and would highly recommend to all. Beautifully fitted throughout, extremely clean, everything you needed was provided. Even had some card games etc to pass the time if wanted. Lovely host and very responsive. Looking forward to our visit again later this year. Thank you!

Nerse Farm Smithy was perfect for our visit to North Wales for a family wedding - had everything we needed and more! Dog friendly too - our dog loved the paddock and don’t think she wanted to leave. Close to so many places we visited Snowdonia and Colwyn Bay beach which we all loved exploring.

Newly Converted Luxury Barn With Private Hot Tub

WiolettaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My four-day stay in a beautiful and quiet cottage with a jacuzzi was a true feast for the senses and a perfect way to escape from everyday life. Right from the start, when I arrived at the cottage, I was welcomed by a picturesque landscape and the lovely owner, Suzy, who gave us a tour of the house. One of the biggest advantages of this place was the jacuzzi. After a long day spent exploring the area, relaxing in the warm water was a true luxury. I will definitely return in the future! 👍
A hot tub is featured at the forefront, surrounded by clear water. In the background, a shaded dining area with a large umbrella is visible, along with rustic stone buildings that complement the outdoor space.

4 Bed in Ruthin (91098)

LauraRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Beautiful cottage on a dairy farm. The photos don’t do it justice. So spacious and spotlessly clean, had everything we needed for our stay. We stayed the weekend of storm darrah, the power in the cottage was completely cut off, within 2 hours the farmer had sorted out his back up generator so our power was soon restored for the rest of the weekend. Very helpful host. We managed to get a taxi into Ruthin for a few drinks and food on the Saturday which was very nice despite the awful weather. Would highly recommend. Great location, very peaceful, but close enough to pubs and restaurants if you want to venture out.

Anvil Cottage

ChrisRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Anvil Cottage was the perfect retreat for my partner's birthday! We were looking for a cosy, relaxing weekend getaway and the cottage exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the coziness and thoughtful touches throughout the cottage. It truly felt like a home away from home and the pictures don’t it justice as others have mentioned. The highlight without a doubt was the private hot tub. After a day of exploring the beautiful surrounding area, it was the perfect way to unwind and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The location was ideal: close enough to lots of lovely Welsh Villages where you can find some equally lovely pubs, restaurants and shops, yet secluded enough to feel like a proper escape. Lots of gorgeous walks and scenery to explore. We were thoroughly impressed with the attention to detail and the small touches provided by Helen who was brilliant from start to finish. A truly memorable birthday celebration and we would highly recommend to others.

Countryside Coach House near Chester

KathrynRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We booked The Coach House, Oak Mead for a place to stay and get ready at before my wedding in Chester. Menna was really welcoming allowing me to invite my make up artists, photographer and bridesmaids along. The property is beautiful and serene. A great place to wake up for your wedding 😍 Everyone that visited the property said how beautiful it is, and that they’d love to stay too! I’d absolutely recommend anyone to book here. Thanks again Menna and Tom! â˜șâ˜ș Kath and Simon xx

Beautiful cottage, amazing views, pet friendly

SimonRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We stayed here for a few days whilst visiting. Although we knew the Wirral, we were less familiar with the old village side of Heswall. With beautiful views over the Dee to North Wales, this property is comfortable and well presented, as well as being spotlessly clean. There is a pub literally across the road, and local village shops a few minutes' walk away. There are good walks along the Wirral Way ( a disused railway line) within a few minutes of the house. We lived our stay there and would thoroughly recommend the property and Lisa's hosting.

Former Miller’s Cottage on the North Wales coast

TraceyRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We had a fabulous few days at Garth Mill. Dan messaged to give us location/check in details & we were also offered an early check in which was perfect. The house is even better than described - pristine and decorated with immaculate taste. The only think I feel would improve it is a larger fridge - but that’s a minor quibble. There is so much history to the house and it is great to see all the old photos dotted about. Dan checked to see we had arrived safely and to make sure we knew he was available for any questions. Would highly recommend!

Character Cottage Above Wooded River Valley

EvgeniaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had such a wonderful stay! Helen and Tony are absolutely lovely—so friendly, caring, and welcoming. The cottage itself is beautiful, warm, and cozy, with everything you could possibly need. It’s also spacious—big, comfortable, and perfect for unwinding. The surrounding scenery is breathtaking, and the fact that you live on a farm with horses and birds around adds such a peaceful, magical touch. It’s the perfect spot for both relaxing and exploring. We truly felt at home and can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful Countryside Lodge in North Wales

SarahRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Just returned home from 4 nights stay at Ty Bedwen and couldn’t have asked for better. The lodge is surrounded by beautiful views and the hosts are kind, welcoming and informative. In the first night, Gareth invited our two children to help bottle feed his lambs which was unexpected but fantastic. He recommended the local farm shop which is amazing, the local milk store and pubs to try in the area. We ate at the Sun Inn and the Raven, both were lovely. We had drinks in the rose and crown which is about 0.5 mile walk from the lodge. The pub is very reasonable and the staff are really friendly. We had trips to Loggerheads park and climbed Moel Famau. We also did a day in Betws y coed which is about 50 mins away. Bala is worth a visit purely for the views in the drive down. Stunning! We would return to the lodge in a heartbeat. Thank you for being such fab hosts!

Brand New Luxurious Cottage

johnRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A great few days, we would highly reccomend staying there. It needs to be noted if you are visiting Liverpool, then the nearest metro line station to the house is at Port Isaac and it is only a 4 minute taxi ride away from the house and the travel into Liverpool around 10 minutes away. Both cost either side. of ÂŁ5 . No need for a car, next time we will come by train. Just ask Emma for the taxi company telephone numbers in advance. Also there is the bonus of a lovely garden in the sun. The welcome food pack was much appreciated too.

Cedar Tree Cottage

JoRating, 5 stars16 months ago
Really cosy cottage. Had everything we needed. Especially appreciated Christmas tree and crackers! Really lovely to be able to park right by front door especially in wet weather! Kitchen particularly well equipped. Had a problem drying clothes, but the weather was particularly bad during our stay....bed really comfortable! Loved the "wet room" bathroom! We didn't need to ask Catherine anything during our 4 night stay but know she would have been helpful if we had a problem. Thank you.

The Secret Hideaway, A Serene and Tranquil Escape

HelenRating, 5 stars41 months ago
We so enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were really helpful and welcoming throughout. The hideaway is cosy, tastefully decorated and spacious. We stayed during a miserably cold couple of days and were very warm and comfortable throughout. The location is handy for getting to lots of places in the car, and the property itself has lovely gardens with a little team of ducks and a nice outlook. I couldn't recommend it enough.
A modern kitchen is presented with light-colored cabinetry and a wooden countertop. The walls feature a checked pattern in gray and cream tiles. A ceramic hob, oven, and small white appliances are arranged neatly, with a textured dish towel hanging from the oven handle.

Llety Cottage

DeniseRating, 5 stars23 months ago
Everything was really lovely, but we did have problems finding the cottage. I think it would help if one of the photo's was of the outside. We had driven past a couple of times. Whilst we really only slept there, everything that we needed was there and very comfortable. Sandra was lovely and the welcome hamper was gratefully enjoyed.
The exterior of the stone-built cottage displays a welcoming green door framed by classic windows. The textured stone walls reflect the building's historic charm, while the street beside it features a gentle incline, contributing to the quaint village atmosphere.

Pet-Friendly Stay Near Ruthin Castle with Parking

JaneRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The old stables is in a perfect location for exploring Ruthin . It’s on a lovely quiet street , with minimal noise and traffic . Permit was provided for one car , and it only cost us £3.50 for the whole weekend for our other car . We were fortunate to have great weather , and spent most of the day in the park with our 2 yr old grandson and our border collie ! A few of the restaurants/ cafes were still closed , we weren’t sure if this was permanent or just out of season, but we still managed !!! Lovely cottage , well equipped.very warm ! Baby gate provided too !! Garden safe for children and dogs . Would definitely recommend!
