Nice cottage by Lake Mälaren

Nice house with large living room and kitchen with open fire, bathroom and 4 bedrooms. Perfect both in summer and winter. There are extra mattresses as well as a guest house and sauna building with extra shower and toilet. Fiber is available, which makes it also suitable for working from here. Close to nature plot with lawn for summer activities. Approximately 150m to the jetty with boat (3.5hp) for fishing and swimming and kayak for 2p. Lovely 4.5 km running trail around Björsund, see the guidebook. Large terrace with barbecue and ping pong table.

Old, cozy cottage in the countryside, yet close to everything

Next to Hjälstaviken's nature reserve is this cottage, which is a wing building to Husby-Sjutolft's vicarage. Parts of the house are probably from the 1700s. The house is 60 square meters with two rooms, kitchen, hall and bathroom with shower. You live next door to the host family, but have your own "backside" with a balcony down the afternoon and evening sun and views of the agricultural landscape. In the area, there are nice walking paths and trails around Hjälstaviken, at Ekolsund Castle and in the forests around. Grocery store is within 10 km.

Back to basic but with some amenities. Here you live with a sense of the 1800s with a "country feeling." You can easily get to both Enköping and Heby, but also Stockholm, by bus/train or by private car. In Heby, there is also a train connection to several other cities. Proximity to municipal outdoor pool during summer, forest and walking paths as well as small grocery store and pizzeria. Welcome to our guesthouse The cottage is located on our farm with nature around the corner, in the middle of a historical environment, eight minutes by car from the city center and with terrain tracks for hiking, running or MTB bike outside the door. In addition to us, a dog and two cats live on the farm. In summer there is a trampoline, board games in the garden as well as a small barbecue and patio in a pergola.

With us at Blänkebo Gård, you will stay in the countryside in Sweden's nearest city with proximity to a lot, but it is also excellent to just relax. The cottage is newly renovated but with preserved old charm and there is both underfloor heating and a wood stove for cozy cooking during the cold season. Outdoors, there is plenty of room for play and movement.
