The original dwelling has been extended over time to incorporate 4 bedrooms, sleeping a maximum of 11 people. There is a split system inside and a combustion fire in the back area to keep you comfortable. Spend your time watching the tides, marvel at the changing colours of the Flinders Ranges or try to spot a pod of dolphins! You’ll love the simple life at Shirley's Shack!

Flinders Family Getaway

This light and airy cottage is within walking distance to all the town facilities. It's a comfortable place for the whole family. You'll love the walks you can take after dinner and the rumpus room is the perfect place to sit by the Pot Belly Fire and watch a movie. If you're into mountain bikes, Melrose is one of the best attractions in South Australia. If you don't have a bike, you can hire them in town. We hope you love staying at our cottage as much as we do.

Alex's Country House

Alex's house is located in the South Australian town of Laura in the southern Flinders Ranges. Built in the early 1900's, this gracious comfortable house has a relaxed feel with generous rooms, high ceilings and modern amenities. It is filled with books, art, trashy novels, board games and spaces to play them or watch tv and lounge in front of the fire with a glass of local wine.
