The house is very nice, in the middle of the mountains, it has a little garden, if you travel with kids is great, and for us, we had breakfast outside. Bedrooms comfortable and Andrea was always helpful. Thanks!

Casa Nonna Rosaria

A modern bathroom features sleek marble walls and a glass shower enclosure. Natural light enters through a window, and a large mirror reflects stylish fixtures. A towel hangs on a rack nearby, and personal care items are placed on the countertop.

Modern Home! 2 Min Walk to Beach! Sleeps 6!

We had a lovely stay! The home itself was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. The host was responsive and friendly. The space had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. As there are people upstairs and downstairs, we had to be quiet (I have 2 children under the age of 2), if you have children just be mindful before booking as you will be reminded to keep it down. You will also need to take bedding off and bins outside yourself at the end of your stay. One thing to keep in mind: the location is quiet seaside village style. It’s a peaceful and quiet area, which we appreciated, but taxis and ride-shares were hard to come by. If you’re planning to stay here, having your own car or arranging transportation in advance is a good idea. We made friends with locals who helped us out with ride shares. Overall, a great experience — especially if you’re looking for a quiet retreat and don’t mind being a little outside the city center!
A framed vintage bicycle patent drawing is displayed against a green wall. The illustration features various technical details including the bicycle frame and gear mechanism, with annotations and figures labeled throughout. The black frame adds contrast to the neutral background.

This place was a delight. It’s cosy and clean. It’s styled perfectly for the space. Stop at the given address and look for the front door - slightly below the footpath level.

A stone pathway extends through a lush green garden, bordered by neatly trimmed hedges and tall cypress trees. Sunlight casts gentle shadows across the pathway, leading to a welcoming villa adorned with flowering plants and outdoor seating options.

La Casa di Nonna (casa vacanze)

Where do I start. Beautiful house up in the hills around 5km from town. On arrival we were welcomed by Vitoria and his family and immediately felt at home. Evening meal with wine was offered for €25 each, glad we accepted as it was the best meal in Italy so far. Typical Calabrian food mostly from their farm. Served outside on the terrace by all family members and w Service was like you would get in a restaurant. On arrival, fridge had water, bread, fruit juice, salami and fresh milk along with a fresh bowl of oranges from the garden. Fresh baked croissants delivered for breakfast along with fresh peaches. The house was spotlessly clean and very comfy beds. On leaving, Vittorio’s wife supplied us with home made Nduja Calabrese and jars of pickled vegetables. Cute and very friendly dogs. What a wonderful family to stay with ❤️🇮🇹❤️👌

"Terrazza Blu": appartamento in villa a Caminia

Book it! If you're considering this area of Calabria and you love beautiful views of the ocean, a quiet/peaceful small beach village vibe, and easy access to many of the nearby beaches, busier cities (e.g. Soverato and Catanzaro), and historical sites, THIS is your perfect spot. The views are spectacular (even better than the photos, if that's possible) - we woke each morning to the sunrise, enjoyed coffee while watching the sea birds, and the hearing the gentle waves hit the rocks below. Federico (Gabriella's son) was very helpful on anything we needed in terms of local restaurants, shops, etc. Definitely visit Alta Marea seafood shop for local seafood. And L'Arte del Grano for freshly baked bread. We can't wait to return!

Appartamento Mare view Pizzo

The photo’s don’t do any justice as to how beautiful this place is. I’ve stayed in many places over the years and this is my favourite spot, easily. The views from the house are incredible. The home itself had everything you need and more. If you are wondering if you should stay here, you absolutely should. Many places are just in walking distance, coffee, restaurants etc My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer and that we did have some sort of our own transportation. The host gladly picked us up from the train station, gave us a number of recommendations and was overall a wonderful host. Just beautiful! I would stay here again and again.
