Each site is convenated by QEII National Trust who describe Mahakirau "outstanding for it's ecology and wildlife value with brown kiwi, kaka, Hochsetetter's and Archey's frogs all present". Self contained stand alone accommodation in quiet street, parking right outside the unit. Close to estuary, an easy 15 minute flat walk to main street. Open plan living measuring 7m x 5.3m with queen sized bed. Living area, spacious bathroom, towels and soap provided. Kitchenette has sink, microwave, toaster, toasted sandwhich maker, fridge, jug, bistro style table and chairs. Coffee, tea, milk, and sugar supplied.
