Vacation rentals in Fayette County

Beautiful property with amazing space. There’s room for your family to spread out or you can snuggle up in the living room and watch a movie on the massive flatscreen tv. We have stayed at this property multiple times. I’ve never stayed somewhere that it feels so much like home. Great, responsive host! Can’t wait until my next visit

We really enjoyed our stay at Cushions Cabins while we were in Fayette this past weekend. The cabin was very clean, nicely decorated and had comfortable beds and furniture. We loved the large front porch and yard. Deb was a great host, very accommodating and responsive. We hope to stay here again when we are in town for UIU baseball!

This a great little cabin! We wanted some privacy rather than staying at the hotel in town and this was perfect! We each had our own space rather than being on top of each other in a hotel. We came to town for a wedding and requested early check in which was granted. Much appreciated! The beds were extremely firm so if you like that then you're good to go!

Mike communicated with me very well leading up to our stay. He is very nice to work with. We enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Second time at this house. It is literally a wonderful place to stay with over the top appointments and thoughtful furnishings. Sharon is a super hostess with the mostest! Heading back again this weekend! Can’t wait!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Kimball house. It is a very spacious, historic home with several sitting areas and a large, well stocked kitchen. We loved sitting on the big wrap around porch in the evening. Angie is a great host, very responsive and accommodating. The location is perfect, close to campus and baseball fields. We hope to stay again when we are back in town!

Our party of five adults stayed at Andy's place for a birthday weekend and had a great time. The cabin and surroundings are as described ~ clean, unique, private, quiet. We kayaked and fished in the pond and ate our meals on the deck; we loved the outdoor spaces and appreciated having the kayaks and the fire pit available. We traveled to Elkader and Decorah during the days. The cabin was just the right place to come back to.

Cute cottage, fully stocked. Sharla always has plenty of towels, extra linens and everything you would need. The only suggestion I would have is to change the shower head as the water just comes out in one stream and not spread out. We had to book a last minute stay due to a family emergency and Sharla's other house was not available. This would be good for a family with kids. The bed situation is not ideal for adults who are looking for more comfort in their bed. Thank you Sharla!
