Quiet place to stay close to Culpeper but not in the town. Easy to get downtown. Very nicely decorated.

Fantastic stay overall. The host was very responsive, friendly and accommodating. We made an oversight during our booking in that we didn't notify in advance that we were bringing a pet, but once we explained the issue and discussed it with the host, she was very accommodating and allowed us to pay the pet deposit and stay. She has two small puppers who tagged along with us on several walks around the property (highly recommend walking up Bruce's Mountain for a spectacular view!). Would happily return for another stay in the future.

We really enjoyed our weekend stay in Robin's cabin. Check-in was easy, with Robin greeting us and showing us where to park. Our stay was in April and the heater kept the cabin cozy all night. There were plenty of blankets as well. It was great being unplugged for the weekend and we slept well. The bathroom is a quick walk up to the house. While we didn't get to spend much time at the farm during the day, the stars and spring peepers were treats to experience at night. Overall a great stay!

Great weekend stay at Supen’s house. The house looked like the pics, except that the view was even better! Appreciated Supen always being responsive.

We absolutely LOVED the cabin and didn't want to leave. It was beautiful, a great mix of rustic and modern. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen and shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the bathrooms. We enjoyed having the hot tub and the fire pit. The beds were comfy. It was a peaceful and a fantastic trip. We plan to stay again in the future.

Connie's Rock Cottage was amazing! much thought was put into this cottage. Firewood and fire starter for the wood stove on chilly nights, robes we used for getting to and from the private hot tub just steps outside the back door,map of entire 550 acres of land including the wonderful paved walkway which meanders through the property. This was the mosr exceptionally prepared kitchen we have seen in out travels. Tons of utensils, a full set of potsand pans, dish towels, trivets, cutting boards and cooking sheets! We love to cook together when we travel and this kitchen was big enough for 2! We got some amazing pictures all over the farm. The lack of light pollution allowed us to enjoy the stars and Pink Full Moon in all their glory! We will be back to enjoy this cottage again!

My old college friends and I had a wonderful time at Cedarbank. The beautifully decorated modern construction "cabin" was roomy-yet incredibly cozy. The hosts thought of everything - from the welcome/information folder and the complimentary bottle of wine to the extra throw blankets and emergency flashlights for just in case. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking and in addition to the spacious bedrooms, there were multiple decks outside for gathering, swinging on the porch swing or stargazing. The private, tranquil and wooded setting was only 15 minutes from shops, restaurants and the entrance to Skyline Drive. When we asked at the last minute where we could get firewood for the living room fireplace, the hosts responded quickly with a couple easy options. We thoroughly enjoyed our getaway there!

We stayed here for our annual New Year’s Eve gathering with friends and it was great! We especially appreciated that every bedroom has a large bed. The basement is fun and comfortable, and was perfect for hanging out after our baby went to sleep upstairs. The property is surrounded by beautiful woods and was private and picturesque. Robert was such a considerate and responsive host.

Amazing property and we are already looking to book our next stay. Clean, comfortable, and beautiful. Great for families or friend groups with dogs. Excellent host. Thanks for everything!

Just the place for a nice family getaway! Beautiful home with lots of amenities. The home is very spacious and comfortable. The living room with the 4 recliners was very nice and used for our family game nights. My 8 yr old granddaughter especially loved the ping pong table along with the keyboard in the lower level. Jenny was quick to respond to any questions we had. The winery she suggested was a lovely atmosphere for our Saturday afternoon. Our Saturday night outside fire 🔥 with s’mores topped off our night. I highly suggest this property to anyone looking for a peaceful, quiet getaway.

Our stay at this farm style cottage was nothing short of perfection! The space was so charming and cozy. Elizabeth was very easy to get in touch with and had everything we needed for our stay and provided great recommendations. The location was great; we loved the coffee shop just up the street. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the beautiful views of the green pastures each morning. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking. Thank you!

This is a fantastic location! The house is comfortable a roomy. It is so peaceful and comfortable. We had a blast! I would highly recommend for a group or family!

Highly recommend staying at Kay’s place and we hope to return some day. The space is so comfortable and has everything you need including SO MANY snacks Kay thoughtfully put out. The property is amazingly peaceful, we loved watching the horses or walking on the doubletrack path around the mountain that started directly from their house. Kay was so friendly and we felt right at home.

We stayed at Natascha and Luc’s place over spring break. We chose to rent it based on the fact that it is in to Middleburg and near winery, which what we were looking forward to enjoying. The house itself is old, but is renovated and beautifully decorated, equipped with all essential items, such linens and soap and shampoo, appliances. There are many fireplaces throughout the house and fire pits in the backyard. But we didn’t have enough time to enjoy them. Hope to do it next time. The house located just a short 8 min drive from downtown Middleburg, easy to go grab coffee or go to the grocery store. They are a lot of art, galleries, antique stores, and delicious restaurants. We love oyster bar. There is also a creek on the property leading to the river. My children enjoyed the 15 min hike in the wood. We treated the house like our own. Tidied up, cleaned kitchen and took out trash. Because it was a home away from home. Communications/questions are easy with hosts.

3 Nights was not enough for our 7 member family. We cooked, grilled, soaked in the hot and best of all had a delightful tour of Barbara's and Mike's Sheep Farm, all fit in around wedding events in Rixeyville. If life wouldn't have been in the way, 2 more days enjoying the massive deck and game room downstairs would have been perfection.

We stayed for a wedding and they let us check in early which was a life saver! The house was very clean and felt right at home. The hosts were very responsive and the place was close to the venue goodstone inn which was very convenient for the wedding. Definitely would recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in the area

My horse is staying in Middleburg for a little bit and this location was ideal for being able to come visit. Great value, felt right at home and Will was a very responsive host. Anyone that might be coming to down for Upperville or Loudoun horse shows that are right down the road, this is an IDEAL place to stay.

Our second stay at Vicki’s beautiful home! Just about a mile off I66 and across the road from Naked Mountain Winery, it’s an easy trip from DC for a weekend getaway! The house is very spacious (and kid friendly 😃) with many spaces to gather and socialize: Living room, sunroom, basement rec room, dining room deck and yard with fire-pit. The eat in kitchen is huge and well appointed with everything you need to cook for a crowd. The bedrooms are roomy with very comfortable bedding (great pillows!) and the whole house is spotlessly clean. Last but not least, the house is situated atop a hill, surrounded by woods, with breathtaking views of countryside and mountains. No neighbors to be seen… so peaceful and private! We highly recommend Vicki’s home and will definitely be back for another family gathering ❤️

Our stay at Stephanie’s place exceeded our expectations. The actual place was even better than the photos — clean, nicely furnished, and very comfortable. The bed was comfy, the shower had excellent water pressure, and the space had everything we needed. Pricing was great for the quality. We’d definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay! We will stay every time we come to the area. I was able to run in the morning on the dirt roads, they had such cute animals, and the hosts Anna and Pino were so helpful friendly and welcoming!

We had the best stay!! Beautiful house and Dolly and her husband Brendan couldn't have been better. Great communication, always responsive, great local recommendations, AND Brendan even came and personally mowed the property for us- after their lawn crew didn't make it out before our stay. The kitchen was well-stocked and a great space to cook family meals. We also loved that they provided many of the basics- hand/dish soaps, dishwasher tabs, TidePods (which we didn't use, but nice to know they had if we needed) etc. We felt right at home! Only thing to mention is you can hear traffic out front from the nearby highway, but you'd never know once you're out back.. and it wouldn't stop us from visiting again!

I am so grateful to have spent my sister’s birthday weekend at Joy and Richard’s cottage. Their home was beautiful, the property stunning. Richard was responsive and kind, and he made sure we had lots of firewood for our rainy, cozy weekend in. I hope to return.
