other than the oven not working, this place was AMAZING! literally the oven not working was the only ick I had but it only bothered me for like five minutes 😂. this place is amazing and will be coming back in the future, very responsive hosts and very welcoming

Daryl and Dana were phenomenal hosts. Dana is by far the most responsive host we’ve stayed with. Responses were always within minutes. The house was super clean inside and out. The outside of the property was meticulously maintained. The inside was spotless. Felt right at home. They stopped by a couple times just to check in, see how things were going, and to make sure nothing was needed. Very personable and related people. We’ll stay here again without hesitation whenever in the area.

Stayed 8 days at Gabrielle's place. She was an excellent host, very quick to communicate and provide useful and helpful information. The check-in was very easy and the place was no problem to find. The place was as described and there were no surprises; everything worked as it should, the place was clean and great for our stay. I very much enjoyed my stay at Gabrielle's and would definitely stay there again when back in the area.

This cabin in the woods was so peaceful – all you could hear were birds and crickets—no city sounds of sirens or traffic. It was amazing. Plenty of open space for the dog to wander and explore, and the huge porch with rocking chairs was perfect for coffee in the morning—great place to watch the deer and squirrels come out from the woods and run across the field. The cabin was simple—had the basics for cooking and a soft bed to sleep at night—and it is located 10 minutes from the Kincaid mounds, an historical archaeological site!

The cabin is beautiful. It has everything you need plus a great outdoor space with a fire pit. The setting is amazing and very peaceful. Amber is quick to respond and very friendly.

We had a great weekend at Black Eagle Retreat. The place itself was so impressively constructed and staged for relaxation. We appreciated the comfy beds and furniture, well stocked kitchen and great shower! We loved both porches depending on where the sun was shining. The hot tub was great!! The best was being at the level of birds as they flew nearby with a great view as a backdrop.

beautiful home and well stocked with all essentials. we were only there one night as we passed through, but loved having the garages to use and the fenced in yard for our dog.
