Vacation rentals with a fire pit in False River

We thoroughly enjoyed our friends stay at this quaint, cozy, clean camp on False River. The sunrises and sunsets were fabulous and sitting around the fire pit was so relaxing! Would definitely return! Thanks for making us feel welcomed and the fine hospitality!

If you're looking for a great place to stay and enjoy quiet time with family, fishing, whatever you want .. this is the place. We visit LA every other year to visit family but after this trip, we're going to make it an annual event. There was plenty of space for everyone, with everything you need to kick back and relax.

I had a truly delightful time at this beautiful home. The interior and exterior decorations were simply perfect for our small gathering with family and friends. I especially admired the banana plants around the house, the trees facing the river, and the outdoor fire pit was ideal for the chilly November weather. I highly recommend this house to anyone seeking a temporary escape from the city, even if it's just for a weekend. Kristy was very kind and even informed me that the river was low, just in case. However, this house definitely has other amenities and decorations to compensate for the river water levels. Kristy made me feel very welcome.

Great house close to town, but far enough away to enjoy some quiet time. I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed for the weekend with our kids. The house is quite lux. We enjoyed swimming and catching catfish off the dock. There is very comfortable seating indooors and our. Lights on the dock. Extremely roomy and well stocked inside. Super comfortable. Would recommend for sure.

It was so peaceful and quiet i wil def stay again if working in That area. Everything was excellent. Joshua the host was very nice and quick to respond.

Great place to stay working at Dow

It was a pleasure staying at Joshua’s place. It was spacious and comfortable. My trip was for work and very close to the Shintec facility. If I am to return I will definitely reach out to him for availability.

My daughter loved reading a book on the balcony and going for a night swim. I loved the quick reply from the host if I had any questions and the convenient location of everything. This place is definitely a 1-stop shop and the home has everything you need, so there was no need to go the store for anything once we arrived. Also, I accidentally left some belongings and the Host notified me before I was even out of the area. Very accommodating and appreciative! 10/10 definitely recommend!!!

This was a cozy little condo. Very clean and a great location - close to lots of great places! Brayden is a responsive host and gave very clear instructions for check-in and check-out.

Excellent cabin!! Our stay was amazing and the room was worth the price. There’s a couple of cafes within walking distance and a Greek restaurant right across the street. Beautiful history and amazing scenery. A friend also bought firewood for the fire pit located just a few feet from our cabin, so we were able to sit outside and enjoy the full moon. We frequent St. Francisville, so we will definitely be back.

Perfect for our family with 3 busy boys who love to explore! Should have stayed longer && our dog was in heaven the entire stay. My kids fell in love with the recently hatched birds in a nest on the porch. Everything was phenomenal. We will be back 💯

This was a special place. Felt private and peaceful.. Had a great porch with rocking chairs. Very comfortable bed. One of the nicest and cleanest places we have stayed. Thank you for having us. We look forward to returning!

This is the second year I've stayed with my dog at Kathryn's place on the order of 6 to 7 weeks. Similar to last year, I really enjoyed my stay at the rental and it served my needs very well again this year. The neighborhood is quiet, and it is nice to walk my dog on leash along the road for about a quarter mile without many houses and without much traffic. Kathryn is always communicative and checked in with me a couple of times to see if there was anything I needed. Again, I had an excellent experience staying at the rental!

My family and I enjoyed our stay. We plan on coming back over the summer.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. We visited over a particularly nasty storm and Debora made sure there were extra lights for us just in case we lost power. When we unknowingly left an item behind, she notified us as soon as she found it and shipped it to our home that day. Debora is a wonderful and thoughtful host!

This was a little slice of heaven for my family (my husband, kids ages 7, 5, and 2 and I)! We enjoyed walking in the creek and finding pretty rocks. We saw fireflies and played outside all day and night!

I came. I stayed. I seriously considered never leaving. From the moment I walked in, I knew this place was going to ruin all future stays for me — and it did. Comfy bed? Check. Spotless space? Check. Vibes? Immaculate. I don’t know what kind of hospitality sorcery this is, but I’m officially spoiled.I was so relaxed I forgot what day it was — which is either a great review or a mild concern for my calendar. Either way, 10/10 would stay again, possibly forever. Someone might have to drag me out next time. Thanks for making my stay ridiculously enjoyable. Y’all crushed it.

This was out second time staying here, cute as can be. In the area of alot of family. Perfect for our wedding weekend. Tomi was very sweet and had gone above and beyond. We plan to stay again in the future.
