Perfect getaway spot in beautiful Hermanus! The location is fantastic –private, and close to town (walking distance). The firewood hot tub was such a treat, and the host was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend!

Had a lovely stay at the cottage. Special views to enjoy, well equipped home, uncluttered yet including most of what makes a break comfortable. Particularly impressed by kitchen equipment, cutlery, crockery quality - makes for convenient self catering. Location good and plenty of activities nearby. Very suitable for a couple or family of 4 but might feel a bit crowded with six adults in the space. But certainly a wonderful break away

This is a lovely cottage with a peaceful atmosphere and fantastic mountain views. There were a couple of snags during our stay, but the hosts were quick to respond to any needs

We stayed here for two nights as part of a longer trip from the UK in the Western Cape. This was such a lovely spot to just stop and relax. We loved the inside/outside space and a cooler/rainy day gave us the opportunity to enjoy a hot tub under the stars. The gardens and grounds are beautiful. Worth a visit to the cutting flower garden across the road. We also really enjoyed the opportunity to swim and kayak in the river. Breakfast hampers a great touch- delicious and beautifully presented. We also made use of ordering braii/ salads and veg which made self catering very easy indeed!

10/10 spot in gardens! Super cozy and has everything you would need. Private and tucked away in the back, fast WiFi, comfy bed, good kitchen and 3 lovely dogs on the property 🥹 super close to Resturant’s and main action, but tucked away where it feels private Molly is so kind and welcoming, she made the stay effortless and I can’t wait to come back . Don’t miss this gem!

We really loved our stay - the cottage is quaint, very well equipped and in a beautiful area. We loved that it was fully fenced with so much space for the dogs to run around. The kitchen was really well equipped and the beds were super comfy and clean. John was very friendly and welcoming, and instructions were clear and uncomplicated. We appreciated the welcome treats, thank you, and enjoyed braaing outside on the stoep and making a cosy fire inside - both great fireplaces!

What a wonderful hidden gem in Cape Town!

We stayed for 10 days and felt right at home. Very convenient base with lots of lovely restaurants and outdoor activities nearby. Nice to have the little extras in the house to make life easy- dishwasher and washing machine tabs, salt, pepper etc. Support from Jon and team also very smooth. We had a super time and would absolutely stay again.

We spent a much needed 4 nights at Susan's place. Sam, her co-host and also permanent resident at the accommodation was always so friendly and checked in on us often. The best part about this place was the location and the fact that our dogs were welcome. We were all in a beachy heaven! Nostalgia definitely set in having spent most of my childhood holidays in Gordon's Bay. Every spot held a memory. We'll be back for sure.

We had a wonderful stay at Hans holiday home. We loved all the space and the beautiful outside area., our 3 children had a great time in the swimming pool. We felt very comfortable and relaxed as soon as we arrived. Thank you for a lovely stay.

This beautiful cottage was perfectly located near the Point for sunset & coastal fynbos walk to beach. It’s a small but supremely comfy & clean cottage with gorgeous decor & everything we needed to be comfortable. It even has a sea view (look out for whales), outdoor seating and pleasing outlook over a natural wetlands garden with a pond and bench. Felt private, safe & serene with separate entrance & car park. Brian and Harriet were lovely people, the perfect kind of hosts and provided helpful info about activities in the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Magdel's cottage. Magdel is such a friendly, responsive and helpful host making us feel right at home. The wine and cheese welcome gift was lovely. The cottage has everything we could have needed making the stay relaxing. We enjoyed an afternoon braai on the porch and private garden. Lovely wine farms within a quick drive. Thank you!

Absolutely beautiful home with stunning views. Gareth was welcoming, friendly and very helpful with any questions we had. The breakaway was definately worth it and would highly recommend there.

Mia’s place is lovely! Very private cottage, in a very safe and beautiful area of Hout Bay! Mia is very friendly and is willing to help you out in every possible way. The fireplace is a lifesaver with the cold CT winter weather! I had a lovely stay. Definitely recommend!

Cosy cottage, loads of kitchen tools available. Clean bathroom and kitchen. Close to cafes and restaurants in Kommetjie. A bit of a walk to Long Beach but close to the light house. Could have used some wood for the fireplace.

Indigo Vieuw is a beautiful place to relax and unwind, but also a good place to work from home. It is clean and tidy and you will be well equipped by Harrold and his staff with a changed bed, towels and other necessities weekly. During loadshedding, it is useful to have an aggregate to charge the laptop yourself. The view is in a word, FANTASTIC!. I'd love to come back!

This historic cottage is a lovely place to stay in Saint James. Close to the tidal pool and local restaurants and spacious and well equipped, I highly recommend the cottage. The many children’s toys and books were a special highlight for our son. Note that there is a main road quite close by which gives some traffic noise and a few steps up and down into the rooms jn the cottage. Carol and Seamus are especially kind and generous hosts who really thought of everything for us and our young son. We felt very well taken care of and very much at home! Thank you so much!
