House vacation rentals in Fall River

This house blew us away and we’ve stayed a lot of spaces. Honestly, it’s one of those rare places that’s actually better than the photos. Every room was so clean, and beautifully designed but still felt incredibly welcoming and comfortable. Our group of eight had tons of space to spread out and unwind. We only stayed three nights but instantly wished we’d booked the whole week. It’s the perfect distance for all the day trips we wanted to take. We explored Halifax, Peggy’s Cove and even Lunenburg and Wolfville (loved this place, it’s so cute!). I mean then there’s the games room, lake, pool and water toys. If you're on the fence—don’t be. I would highly recommend to anyone to book this house and book longer than you think. We’ll absolutely be back, and next time we’re staying for the week!

Beautiful stay! The lake was fairly accessible, unfortunately the pool was out of service but the host kindly informed us before our stay and gave us options for refund. Happy we decided to stay, as it is a beautiful spot by the lake!

The house is beautiful, lots of bedrooms and bathrooms for a big group. Beautiful kitchen and dining area. We were expecting the pool to be open, but were informed the day before that it was not ready yet, which was unfortunate. There was still a hot tub, which was nice. Waterfront is great. Location is very private, but further than expected from Halifax. Overall awesome place, would recommend. Priced as expected for the size of house.

It was a place like more than a home. Feeling of residing in a resort. We liked very much. In future when ever we plan to visit this side we will see that we come and relax in the place

I booked CJ’s place last minute for member of our company’s upper management team. He went above and beyond for us given the tight timeline, was very attentive, provided clear instructions and was more than willing to help with unforeseen circumstances. My team had nothing but phenomenal things to stay about not only the property, but the property owner as well. We give a glowing recommendation for anyone interested in this property in the future

Another Great Stay at The Land Yacht! This was our second time staying at The Land Yacht, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. They have everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable getaway. The indoor pool was amazing, and the views of the ocean are absolutely breathtaking. One of our favorite moments was reading a book in the solarium while listening to the rain—pure bliss. The peaceful atmosphere, thoughtful amenities, and beautiful setting make this a truly special place. We can’t wait to return again!

We stayed with as a family of 4 for two nights - our 2 little girls loved the comfiness and coziness of Kelly's place - full of fluffy pillows, blankets, and lots of little places to snuggle in. There was a nice big kitchen to cook in, and the hot tub and pool were awesome. We would stay here again :)

Really the perfect house for vacation. Great welcome and lots of little touches. The house is in a dream location, lovingly decorated and perfectly equipped. There's really nothing missing here. Super nice host with great tips and very good accessibility. If we come back to Nova Scotia, we will definitely book the Secret Beach House again. Dear Courtenay, Thank you so much for everything. The place was very organized and welcoming. It had everything we could need, it was in a very clean condition, and very well equipped. There was a guide with things to do and places for food. One thing to keep in mind is that there is an open roof so id recommend bringing eye masks. It was fun watching the wild life out the window.

We had a great stay and David was a great host! The place is clean, comfortable and equipped with what is needed for a family stay. Location is both central and quiet. I highly recommend!

Our stay was exceptional, and this was one of the best equipped stays I've booked (and a great kitchen). The location is wonderful- it's extremely private even though it's close to everything. The home has an amazing yard to unwind, too. Matthew communicated clearly and proactively and goes above and beyond.

Dave’s place is a little slice of heaven. The view is so peaceful and it was the perfect place to unwind. Although we didn’t end up bringing any dogs, the fenced in yard and being so close to the water was an amazing find. We will definitely be repeat customers.

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at Jim’s home for 4 days. We were thrilled with the lovely home and how clean and spacious it was! Iris had made sure that our stay was comfortable and accommodated our every need! She even gave us some recommendations as we were visiting from out of town! Thank you both for a wonderful stay! We had a great experience here. It was our first time visiting Nova Scotia, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Lisa was very accommodating and allowed us to check in a couple hours early because our flight landed earlier in the day. The lakefront property was so peaceful and the views were stunning. The home itself was also beautiful. The kitchen was stocked with anything you would need to cook meals, and it was very clean! We enjoyed lounging on the comfortable couch after getting back from a long day of exploring. The hot tub was the perfect temperature, and also very clean! The king size bed was very comfortable, and there were extra pillows if needed. Overall, it was an excellent experience and I would highly recommend this spot to others!

A lovely home and wonderful place to spend time with family. The seaside bedroom was heaven with the sound of the surf when weather allowed for open windows! Well-appointed kitchen, lovely patio, and a great fire pit! Easy access to the rails-to-trails line which we made good use of during our stay.

Single house dwelling. Quite area. Well maintained. Very clean. Everything we needed was at the house. I loved the living room for relaxing. 70’s era style. The furniture was in great condition, and clean. Big screen tv; a large selection of 70’s vinyl albums and record player. Nicely decorated. Kitchen was clean and well lit. Everything we needed to cook with was supplied, as well as a good selection of hot drinks. Beds were comfortable. There were also clean dog beds and bowls supplied. The bathroom was clean and well stocked. Andrea was a super host. She was very friendly, easy to communicate with, and she made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We will definitely stay at Andrea’s place again.

From the moment we arrived at this charming cottage, we were blown away by the breathtaking view. It made every sunrise and sunset feel magical. The amenities were equally impressive. The cottage was clean, and beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything we needed - from a fully stocked kitchen to linens and even games for a rainy day. The location was fantastic, as we were just minutes away from local grocery stores and a mix of eateries - perfect for grabbing a quick bite or enjoying a leisurely dinner. Plus, the area is packed with sightseeing adventures and historic landmarks to hidden gems we discovered along the way. This place felt like home away from home and we can’t wait to go back again!

Randy’s property is absolutely stunning and super private. It had everything I needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of my crazy life. He brought fresh firewood over and showed me how to use the fireplace. The added touches of his beautifully designed furniture and decor just made the whole home feel so cozy and unique. I love that he displayed some beautiful art from local artists as well. I made good use of the sauna and hot tub. Everything was immaculate and clean. I would highly suggest booking Randy’s spot - if you can find an opening in their very busy calendar! One thing to note is that it is not close to restaurants but that did not bother me as I brought my own food and had the option to cook, which I prefer! There’s also filtered water for drinking in the kitchen. Such an elevated but also rustic home away from home.

Our trip to Nova Scotia was a special celebration for our daughter. We chose the Den of Zen for a number of reasons, all of which exceeded our expectations: beautiful setting on a lake; clean and modern interior; an elixir of natural light from a wall of windows; use of great amenities such as a sauna, hot tub, and grill; close to Halifax/airport and easy access to routes for day trips; and comfortable beds. What was remarkable was the incredible hospitality of our hostess, Shelley, who made the trip THE best by offering attraction suggestions and keeping in touch to answer our questions. She was so attentive. We highly recommend a stay at the Den of Zen!

My friends and I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The place was spotless, beautiful location, and exactly as described. The host was friendly, responsive, and made check-in a breeze. The location was perfect for our surf trip in Lawrencetown and the house was perfect for a larger group. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
