Karsten was always responsive and extremely helpful. The space was cozy and very clean with all the necessary items. We were delighted with a few beers and sodas after a long day of travel. Groceries, restaurants and other shops located within walking distance. But nothing can beat the amazing views of the harbor!

Wir vermissen das Bootshaus jetzt schon sehr und wären am liebsten noch viel länger geblieben! Die Atmosphäre und der Ausblick auf den Fjord sind atemberaubend, das Bootshaus ist nicht nur sehr gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sondern auch luxuriös ausgestattet (z.B. elektrischer Kamin, Sauna, Airfryer, Fernrohr, HUE, Sonos). Wir hatten einen unfassbar schönen Aufenthalt und können jedem nur einen Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft empfehlen! Es war traumhaft abends auf der Couch zu liegen und bei Musik und Kamin den Ausblick zu genießen. Wir hatten sogar das Glück einen Abend die Polarlichter sehen zu können und einen Tag bei purem Sonnenschein auf der Terrasse zu verbringen. Am liebsten würde ich das Bootshaus für immer bewohnen :-) Vielen Dank an die tollen Gastgeber - wir kommen hoffentlich irgendwann wieder!

Wow- what a perfect place to stay. After a long day out exploring the islands we enjoyed coming back to Kristian’s warm and cosy place. A great place to catch fish for supper and a great location for a wild swim too- Perfectly peaceful. Highly recommended.

We stayed three days in this beautiful boatshouse. Sitting at the small window looking at the water and the mountains was just stunning. Communication with Maria was easy and helpful. We would definetly recommend this place and hope we can come back in the future!

i cannot find the right word to explain how amazing this place is. If you are looking for a cozy cottage with stunning scenary all around you, Liz's place will definitely be the one for you. From the moment we drive into her area, you will be greeting by many sheeps. Plus, the path leading to the cottage is beautiful. You will be on top of the hill and can see the whole village. The path might be a bit challenging to drive but you will be forgetting all the difficulties once you see Liz's cottage standing in the middle of beautiful mountains and the big waterfall right behind. The cottage itself is not that big but it's the right size to make you feel comfy. Liz prepares several board games for you to enjoy as well. Actually, you don't have to go anywhere to explore. Just walk around the cottage and explore the waterfall behind the cottage is extremely impressive. You will not be sorry staying in Liz's place!

Lydia’s place was really great and I enjoyed my 10 days in Klaksvik staying here. I really appreciated the modern washer and dryer. The water pressure in the shower was great also. The view out the window is amazing and never gets boring to look at as the light changes throughout the day on the hills. The beds are comfortable but it would be nice if maybe one of the rooms was a double bed instead of joined twin singles as they can move apart in the night. But overall this is a great place to stay and Lydia was very accommodating when I needed early checkin! I would recommend this place to any one staying in Klaksvik

Bjørg's apartment was lovely! Cozy, clean and in a wonderful location. I wish we had picked this place to stay for our whole trip. the kitchen has wonderful amenities and there is a grocery store less than 10 minute walk away. Parking on-site is a bonus we really liked. would absolutley stay here again.

Wir waren Anfang September im Haus. Wir hatten an 5 Tagen hervorragendes Wetter. An mehreren Tagen sind Schweinswale vor dem Haus vorbei geschwommen. Wandermöglichkeiten gibt es sehr viele. Wenn man eine Angel hat, kann man auch in der Nähe angeln. Am letzten Abend bzw. in der Nacht waren Polarlichter über dem Haus und sehr gut über dem vom Balkon sichtbaren Fjord zu sehen. Klassische touristische Attraktionen sind im Schnitt ca. 30-60 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Alles in allem ein schöner Aufenthalt mit viel zu sehen und vielen Erlebnissen

Guðrun was super friendly and provided us with a lot of suggestions to do in the area. The place was small but nice and cozy. The furniture was brand new with everything we needed. The apartment had a nice view of the mountains around it and was in the center of where we wanted to hike and see.

Harriet and John are great hosts and have designed the AirBnB based on the comforts they expect when travelling, rather than cutting corners, and in doing so have created a very special place. The road leading up to Hanusarstova is very picturesque, and the property itself has great views overlooking a field, a few sheep and the ocean - an amazing sight to wake up to, and to return to after a day out. The bathroom is very well designed, has great water pressure and very hot water, and underfloor heating which keeps it dry at all times. The shampoo and conditioner that were provided were really good too. The kitchen is highly functional, and storage has been optimised to provide a wide range of kitchen appliances. The ceramics are really great as well. We also had dinner at their house, which was really great - in particular the lamb (as you’d expect!), a farm tour which was very cool, and they were so kind as to share some pancakes for breakfast too! We also saw the aurora!

Niclas was an excellent host, helpful and friendly. The Boat House in Strendur was very comfortable the kids had a great time upstairs playing on the nets. It’s a peaceful location and easy to come and go. The location is great to explore any part of the islands and we also made use of the local fish recommendations from Niclas! Many thanks

Words can’t describe how happy we were in Gunnar’s place! It’s a cosy boathouse, facing the inlet. Shea’s sail right in from of the terrace, and the smell of the Atlantic ocean is exhilarating. I would never be able to afford such a beautiful place in Canada (I’m Canadian). We enjoyed every moment in this place! The famous fish and chips truck is just a short walk away. We stayed in many places in Faroes Islands, but this boathouse is our favourite by far!

it was an unforgettable experience thanks to the impressive views and location of the house. Conveniently located in a peaceful setting. The only downside for us was that the blankets we used on the coach were a bit smelly and needed a wash. As for the beds the pillows were a bit flat for our personal taste, but it wasn't too bad for us to rest. We highly recommend this place.

Heerlijk huis op een fijne centrale locatie. Vanuit hier kun je allerlei uitstapjes maken. Petur en Maria zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzame gastheer en gastvrouw. Het is ook heel fijn dat we de wasmachine en droger mochten gebruiken. Het huis is ook heel gezellig ingericht en in de keuken is alles aanwezig om zelf een maaltijd te koken.

They were hospitable, friendly and very helpful, far behind their host duties ❣️ The apartment is absolutely wonderful, well equipped and with a really great view. It is a calm place, where you can relax after busy days outdoors in the Faroe Islands. We spent a great 12 nights and days there. The only negative thing was, that we had to leave ☺️
