Jona was a terrific host and her cottage was perfect for our family of three. we had great conditions for viewing the northern lights and away from any light pollution so we could really enjoy their beauty!

Diese Unterkunft ist traumhaft und idyllisch, mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet und sehr bequem. Nach einem langen Fahrt von Akureyri nach Süden wir sind einfach in einem Paradies gelandet-so hat auf uns die Unterkunft gewirkt! Versteckt zwischen Bäumen und viel Blumen , wunderschön ausgestattet und mit eine großartige Terrasse vorne ! Wir werden diese drei Nächte lange in Gedanken behalten! Eidur ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit und hat sofort geantwortet und ein paar gute Hinweise gegeben was wir noch sehen können. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und können nur dankbar sein und weiter empfehlen! Wirklich ein Paradies!

We loved staying here! So cosy and lovely surroundings - we especially loved meeting the friendly dog that lives on the grounds! very welcome visitor when we were packing up the car :)

Gudmundur has a wonderful cozy cabin. It is spacious has a well equipped kitchen, a nice living room and the beds were very good. The location is also very nice, very private in the nature. The nearest grocery shop is a small drive but the location is perfect to explore south Iceland. It’s exactly as you see on the pictures and description. Gudmundur is an excellent host, communication went very smoothly and he gave clear instructions how to get to the cabin. I can highly recommend!

I cannot say enough about how incredible our stay was here, and how above and beyond the hosts went. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a beautiful, private getaway. Seeing how pretty the place looked in the pictures, I booked this spot to bring my fiancé to after proposing to her on the south coast. The hosts were kind enough to pick up decorations that I ordered from a nearby post office, and decorate the place beautifully well in time before I brought her there. They were extremely communicative in the weeks leading up to my stay, and put so much time, care, and attention to detail into the decorations while asking for nothing in return. In addition, the place was absolutely spotless and clean throughout. If you're looking for a serene stay with stunning views, cleaned to the highest standard, with extremely friendly and responsive hosts, this is your place.

Secluded place. Felt a bit sketchy on our way to the house because of dark roads (we arrived super late ~10pm). Booked with the hope we would see northern lights but we didn’t due to weather. Decent home. Things to note: Steep and narrow stair steps. Shower space is very small so if you’re a bigger person you might feel claustrophobic. Still a solid choice for privacy.

Zero complaints about Bianca’s place! It was clean, easy to access, and had a nice view. We enjoyed coffee in the morning outlooking the hills. The blackout curtains gave us a perfect first nights rest.
