What you'll do

Chiang Mai is situated in Northern Thailand, 700km north of the capital city of Bangkok. Chiang Mai is the second largest city in Thailand, yet only has a population of around 200,000. Compare this to Bangkok which has about 9 million and it is easy to see why even the Thai people in Bangkok love to visit Chiang Mai for a holiday.
Chiang Mai was built in 1296 as a walled city surrounded by a moat. The old city was roughly 1.5km square. Whilst a good portion of the original city wall has collapsed the four corner bastions are still intact along with various other sections. The original moat is still in use to this day. Chiang Mai city is basically made up now of the old city (within the walled area) and the new city which has grown up around it.
If you like ancient temples (Wats) and buildings, then visit Chiang Mai and the surrounding areas, they are full of them, several hundred in fact.

I would like to share a wonderful experience to enjoy a Historical of 9 Temples in 1 day private trip.
You can learn a brief history and culture of Chiang Mai and Buddhism in the same time.

I will pick up you at your hotel at 09.00 AM. and back to hotel at 16.00 PM :
* we also have guide licence to support our trip.

Kelly is a great host! Hey customized the entire day as per my liking and comfort and really let me spend time to enjoy the beauty of the places instead of just rushing from one place to another. Great company to talk to and share stories with. Will definitely recommend others to try and will visit them soon :)

Kelly was so fun and personal, he really made it a great and memorable experience and he's very flexible if you want to take a detour to do something else as well. We ended up stopping at the market at the end of the day, and had a super long lunch at the park in the afternoon, and he also brought me to his brother's coffee shop and had special drinks! He was very generous, and funny. Highly recommend!

The experience with Kiwi was unique, the affection and attention dedicated to me and my friends was totally incredible. We felt like we were with a great friend who took us to visit his hometown, in many moments we were the only westerners among the locals, without them we certainly wouldn't have known such amazing places!

Highly highly recommend this tour! It’s so personal and truly something we wouldn’t have done on our own. Kelly knew so much about each or the Temples and the history behind them, as well as how to make the most of them. It was a magical day with Kelly!

My sister, mom, and I took this tour with Kiwi and a tour guide. We customized the tour a bit to see more things out of town versus in the city. We were happy with the flexibility of the schedule and the private nature of the tour. The hosts were so lovely - Kiwi is very bubbly and upbeat. Our only feedback is that we were hoping to learn more about local life, customs, Buddhism, etc however felt that the language skills prevented us from asking anything other than simple questions.

If you want to explore the Wuts of Chiang Mai in a short time this is the way to go, see the ones outside of the typical tourist zones and get good history lessons from somebody that has a deep care for it.
