What you'll do

UPDATE: With multiple recent reports of human-to-animal transmission of CoViD-19, I have made the decision to remain closed until early spring of 2021. I'm so sorry. I hope to see you next year.

In an hour-long experience, visitors will meet and bottle feed this year's babies. Babies start arriving mid-March, and continue through early May. Bottle feeding will continue through late June, so don't wait too long!! After all babies have been weaned, you can still come to play with the babies, as they get older, bigger...and rowdier.

These babies are bonded to humans and will climb all over you.

At the end of the hour, visitors are welcome to visit the rest of the goats and I'll be happy to answer any questions they might have about goat life. Guests are also more than welcome to browse the farm store, with my handmade goat milk soap, personal care products, goat-themed Ts, handknits, and other products.

(Don't see a date that works for you? Drop me a message and let's see if we can't make another day work. We can even do another time if you are prepared to meet the babies without feeding them. Want to come with a group larger than 6? Drop me a message, and we'll see what we can do.)

I have been raising and breeding Nigerian Dwarf Dairy goats since 2013. My goats are "schmancy" pedigreed show goats. No babies, no milk...so every spring I have lots of babies, and they love to play.

This was a PERFECT activity. Nina is s welcoming and knowledgeable, she was able to answer every question we could come up with for an hour. The goats were cute and gentle - so much fun to interact with them up close and in their own barn. Highly recommend for anyone who's entertained by goats or wants to meet them!!

This was a great experience! Nina has the nicest herd of goats that will let you pet them all day, and she is incredibly knowledgeable and, more importantly, good at sharing that knowledge with her guests. The three of us had a wonderful time chatting with her while surrounded by miniature goats - I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone of any age!

My husband and I had an amazing time learning about the goats from Nina and interacting with them. It was fascinating to hear about how the breed is breed and cared for, as well as meeting the chickens, ducks, and Hudson! Nina was very sweet and so passionate about her animals. We loved getting to know her and definitely want to come back in the spring to see the babies!
