I've lived in Brighton since 2007 and love helping people explore and experience this amazing city.

I hold the Blue Badge in Tourist Guiding. This is the UK's highest professional qualification for tourist guiding - the training is detailed and comprehensive. I’m a Member of the Institute of Tourist Guiding and am held accountable to their Code of Professional Conduct.

When not guiding, I can be often found training English pronunciation and performing improvised comedy.

Where you'll be

We cover all the main districts of central Brighton, including:
- Cultural Quarter with its bizarre 'Indian' palace and Regency gardens
- North Laine: the colourful alternative shopping district
- The Lanes: the atmospheric 18th century fishing town.
We finish the tour on the beach with a view towards the iconic Brighton Pier. Total walking distance about 1.5 miles (2.5km), no hills.

Ric obviously knows his stuff, and you can tell he has a lot of love for Brighton. I especially appreciated the way he wrapped up the tour on theme and message - inclusive and kind. Great value - great way to see and learn lots of things about Brighton you wouldn't normally learn or easily come across. 10/10

Ric's "Only in Brighton" tour was great - very informative indeed, very varied in its content and great story telling. I grew up in Sussex but almost everything he said was new to me

Ric gave the right mix of being informative but funny. Relaxed atmosphere and we had the benefit of being the only two on the tour. Would certainly recommend!
