What you'll do

After meeting at the Shimokitazawa station, we will stop by at the local fabric store to buy your cloth. There are tons of fabrics, so I will give you advice what kind of cloth is good for head cover. After spending some time there, we will head to Wakana's place, approx. 15 min on foot. Wakana was born and raised in Shimokitazawa and also an Airbnb super host. She's been doing a tour guide around this neighborhood. Along the way to her place, we will pass through local shopping district, crowded with lots of cool shops and cafes on narrow streets.
When we get there, two little cats, Gin and Sumire will welcome you, with sticking their tail up!
After taking few breaks or mingle with them, I will give you short intro about my experience. Firstly, we will make a head pad, lead by Miyoko, who is a granma-ish handicraft artist and also an Airbnb super host. Sewing is not difficult at all. If you need help, we will help you of course!
Now, it's time to learn how to wrap up. I will demonstrate it first and then you follow it. I will give you some notes so you can do it by yourself or teach to someone you want to share. I would be grateful if I could encourage someone in many ways!

After being diagnosed with breast cancer in January in 2018, I started looking for wigs for the side effect prep of chemo treatment but I used few times because I didn't like how I looked. Also, when I go to a hospital, many patients use it but it's not fashionable, just to conceal their appearance. To me, it's sad and makes more depressed. At least, I want to enjoy my life as before, even though I've been receiving treatment. Then, I discovered how to enjoy hairstyle even though no hair! I'm passionate about sharing my know how to everyone, not only who has hair concerns, but also as fashion!

More tips

We will stop by at a fabric store to buy cloth but you don't need to buy if you just want to know how to wrap up. You can use mine for practice. Please note you will buy your own fabric at a shop.

What to bring

Some cash to buy fabric. They also accept credit cards.

You can bring scarf or stall instead buying fabric at a shop. I recommend the size should be 100cm x 200cm.
