What you'll do

Theory unit in the morning: Everyone introduces himself briefly and tells a bit about his experiences with horses and where the uncertainties are. Duration approx. 1 hour. Afterwards horse watching: We go to the surrounding horse pastures. How do horses behave in the herd, body language? Back at the stable, we refresh ourselves and discuss the observations made. It will be an interactive exchange where I will gladly answer questions. This is followed by practical exercises with Norbert and Rökkvi, two of our horses: for example, how do I approach a horse, what effects do my own body language have. In the end, I am happy when each of the participants informs me of one of their highlights of the course. I will be available for questions and exchanges for about 1 hour after the end of the official appointment.

Melanie

Hi, my name is Melanie. I run a small open stable and am also a horse physiotherapist. I have been doing horsemanship for 3 years and would like to share this experience with other people. It is important to me that as many interested people as possible learn that horses and humans can work together harmoniously. With patience, the right body language and lots of fun and games, the prey animal (horse) and the predator (human) can become friends.
