Where we'll be

Missed by many we'll discover canal secrets as well as less obvious, hidden & lost parts of the great canal era. We walk above and below street level along the Rochdale Navigation and its locks starting at Piccadilly Basin, via Canal Street, under Deansgate, past Dukes Lock, into Castlefield, to The Bridgewater Canal. We then take a tram via Poloma to see a modern day Manchester Port, before returning to St. Peters Square where the walk ends.
