Perfect! Great planning and I was great to see the platypus in action. We got to see koalas, native birds and the cheeky water dragon. Picnic was great. Thank you for the stories and tidbits of information. It was great to learn so much about these animals. A must go trip!

Had a fantastic trip with Wendy. Communication in advance was quick and she added a trip to her schedule to accomodate us. We were staying at an Airbnb out of town and picking us up from there was not a problem.. It’s a lovely walk about 40 minutes from Byron. We saw a koala and two tawny frog mouths which was amazing. However no platypus. Although a dog walker did say they had seen one further up stream. We then went and had a fantastic picnic breakfast which was awesome. However as we had. It seen the illusive platypus, true to her promise Wendy then took us out a second day in a row. On Sunday we were so lucky. The first pond we came to we saw the most amazing platypus! He then played in the water for us for a couple of hours. It was incredible! Another dog walker said they saw another one until the creek as well. We got so many photos and videos it was amazing! Wendy was brilliant. She knows her platypus and was so flexible. She was as excited as us when we saw him!! Great trip if you have the patience to wait it out! So worth it. But remember it’s wildlife so nothing guaranteed. We were lucky!
