About your host

My grandmother's cooking was everything to talk about; even now that she is not here anymore! I can recall tales of persons stopping by her house in the cool hills of St. Andrew, Jamaica, on their way from the market, their offices, church, or school, and being fed with good Jamaican food. After they ate to their heart's content, they would tell her that she needed to start a restaurant or…

What we’ll do

You will be taken through the full experience from shopping downtown Kingston in Coronation Market, to picking up other groceries in the supermarket. We will then catch the good old Jamaican wood or coal fires upon which we will bring to life the tantalizing meals you will enjoy as you dine under the Jamaican sun.

What else you should know

Bring along your medication if you have allergies to pollen. Also, bring a light Jacket as we live in the hills which get a little chilly between December and February. You may take umbrellas and do not leave your mosquito repellent!

What I’ll provide
