What you'll do

Mix Beach Yoga, a Barefoot Run & Swim into one fitness routine, if possible with Dolphins. Tune into nature to de-stress from your busy life. The negative ions in sea air accelerate our ability to absorb oxygen balancing serotonin levels improving mental health. Seawater contains minerals that work as natural cosmetics on your skin. Running on the beach provides more exercise than walking on a flatter surface. Because your body is constantly counter-balancing the uneven surface of the sand, effectively working your calves, thighs & gluteal muscles without you knowing. Swimming in the sea gives you a full body workout, improves circulation & increases immune system function. Studies show that the vitamins, minerals & amino acids in seawater produce antibiotic & antibacterial effects that promote immunity. Seawater activates the body's healing mechanisms to fight conditions such as asthma, arthritis, bronchitis, inflammatory diseases, common aches & pains We will warm up over the dune with a Yoga sequence while facing the sea. Depending on people’s ability we will run 5 - 10 km's from East to West along the beach stopping to encounter Marine/Animal Life. Regular sightings of Whales, Dolphins, Seals, Sea Otters, Sea Birds, Crabs, & Fish. Then I will choose 1 of the 5 safest natural rock pools to swim in. If there are Dolphins & conditions are safe, we will swim with the Dolphins

I am passionate about Yoga, the Ocean, Marine Life & the Sea. I take a special interest in the link between the Mind, the Body & the healing power of nature, the ocean & sea. I was ordained as a Buddhist Monk in a Tibetan Buddhist Monastery having lived, worked & trained for many years following guided ritual practices in Meditation, Yoga & Massage. Recent scientific studies acknowledge the link between the ocean & our improved health is a scientific fact, as well as "ThalassoTherapy" a term coined by Hippocrates I combine Beach Yoga, Running & Swimming with the healing ability of the ocean, sea air, connection to nature & marine life all into one practice, one therapy. Yoga & Massage Therapist, registered with the SA Dept of Tourism, Professional FGASA Qualified Marine Tour Guide. Fitness fundi & Surfer with 30 years of ocean experience

Where you'll be

We will go over the main sand dune to the East Side where it is sheltered with a flat section to do our warm up Yoga stretches. Here we will do our Yoga Session. Depending on peoples ability, we will run 5 - 10 km's from East to West along the beach stopping to encounter Marine/Animal Life. At the end, i will choose 1 of the 5 safest natural rock pools to swim in. If their are Dolphins & the sea conditions are safe, we will swim with the Dolphins
