This is one of the best activities I have ever done during my travels. Stoan is an amazing dancer and a kind host. I learned some cool moves within a short span of time (it was a good work out). If you are a dancer, I think you will be in for a treat! The area is vibrant, with kids joyfully playing on the streets! The food was very delicious!
I recommend this activity wholeheartedly. I would love to do this again, but for a longer time (if that option becomes available).
Thank you, Stoan, for this unforgettable experience! I am also thankful that AirBnB is promoting activities like this!

This was an amazing way to start our South African vacation! Not only did Stoan teach us various dances but he also told us a lot about himself and the history of the townships. In addition, we had lunch at a restaurant within the township following our lesson. He is extremely friendly and patient with all skill levels and although my partner and I have two left feet, we still had a great time.

It was a wow experience! Stoan led a workshop on contemporary African dance, gave us a short tour of the area, and treated us to delicious local cuisine. This is a great opportunity to interact with a local and learn more about life in this area. I highly recommend it; this is exactly the unique Airbnb experience you are looking for. Thank you, Stoan!

this is the kind of experience that really showcases what "Airbnb experience" can offer. it takes a specific and open-minded person to be interested in this - and I am so glad Stoan makes it happen and available.
the day was hot but we managed. "class" is about 20' of walking around town to understand its roots, be acclamated to the environment and feel the vibe.. before moving on to different types of dances. it was fun, organic, and just like with many things - dependent on the energy that everybody involved brings in.
as for Stoan, his kindness and gentleness with playfulness brings out the same qualities in people. this is one of my most treasured moments from the trip.

Stoan is an amazing dancer, he should be touring the world, going by his talent. And he is a very nice host, he showed us around Kayelitsha, connected us to the people there and told us interesting stories. We couldn’t dance as much, because our two little babies didn’t want to anymore at a certain time. But he was very nice and flexible about that.
We felt safe at all times. We definitely recommend it to anyone visiting this beautiful country!
