Good Vibes Only: Red River Gorge! Large Game Room!

MelanieRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We really enjoyed our time at Jeffrey’s house for spring break! The location is perfect—close to so many great outdoor spots and hiking trails. The game room and hot tub were the cherry on top, especially since we had some wild weather during our stay, including heavy rain, river flooding, and even some tornado and hail warnings. Having those indoor options made a big difference and kept everyone entertained. We’d love to come back and explore more of the area when the weather is better!

Hot Tub, Fire Pit, WiFi & EV Charge - Biggie Cabin

Mark And CathyRating, 5 stars5 days ago
My family had a great time at the cabin. The host was helpful, friendly and got back to us very quickly when we had questions. The cabin was one of the cleanest we have ever stayed at. All the bedding, towels, appliances and furniture were top quality. The outdoor spaces were comfortable and relaxing. The cabin was very close to many things to do. If we ever have the chance to visit that area again we would stay at the Biggie Cabin again. Cathy and Family

Hot Tub, Fire Pit, WiFi & EV Charge - Biggie Cabin

AngiRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Our family had a relaxing four night stay where we enjoyed the hot tub, ping pong table, spacious dining room, big screen TVs and more. The house is very clean, modernized with super fast WIFI, plenty of hookups for charging all your electronics, and all the amenities for making yourself at home. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, with country scenery and plenty of parking. We can see this becoming a family tradition thanks to the impressive experience we had.

Suspended SkyView Cabin Near RRG

JessicaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We are locals to the area but we were looking for a private getaway from our busy life of the hustle and bustle. We spent the evening on the porch overlooking the tree tops, the hot tub was fantastic and then at dark you could see every star in the sky. We even sat & counted the airplanes passing us by. Sounds silly but this place is just what you need if you’re looking to escape the world. The directions provided were on point, we do have a 4 wheel drive but didn’t require it. I couldn’t believe this type of place existed so close to home. This is a prestige location for blissful peace! I’ve already recommended it to many friends and family and we plan to return in the fall.

Green Pastures Getaway

LynnRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Our family had a great stay!! We enjoyed lots of fishing, grilling out, using the little boat and peddle boat and the hot tub was wonderful. Not far from the Red River Gorge attractions and the area around was beautiful. Such a beautiful location to wake up to and drink your coffee while watching the fog rise from the lake. We also saw a few deer. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing and private get a way. Would love to stay here again in the future.

Limestone Ridge• WIFI• Hot Tub• Cliff view

LaurieRating, 5 stars5 days ago
This cabin is so comfortable, beautiful and has everything you need to relax and had a good time. I loved that my teen kids had their own room with a bed for each and their own bathroom. The living area is very spacious. The hot tub was great for the evening. We were about 15 mins from the activities that we had planed so it worked great. 100% recommend and will book again if we visit the area in the future!

Gateway to the Red River Gorge

JeroldRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Mark offers this quaint cabin in a beautiful, natural setting. The place has great views as it's situated on a hillside overlooking a little forested valley. Driving to it is typical of Kentucky's rural roads in mountainous areas: hilly with abundant curves. Once you're there the cabin provides a relaxing atmosphere with plenty of warm wood tones and textures, a well-equipped kitchen, and personal memorabilia from Mark's life and work. We felt so comfortable in every corner of the house. The bedroom was cozy, the bathroom clean and modern, and the TV room had plenty of options. The kitchen provided a familiar experience for us, since Mark had the same kinds of cooking tools we have at home. Our favorite time there was spent enjoying our morning coffee out on the front porch with the valley's peaceful views. Between sips we watched the local songbirds gather their own breakfasts in the treetops. We would most definitely return here; the autumn foliage should be spectacular.

Elderberry Cabin Red River Gorge

SeanRating, 5 stars4 days ago
The cabin was the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway. It's very private yet not too far from downtown Stanton if you need something quickly. The cabin has everything you need to be comfortable during your stay, plus some helpful extras like flashlights and local recommendations in the guide. The bed is comfortable, and the AC units are quiet and great at cooling the rooms down. It was great to be in such a secluded spot, but have all the comforts you need. Even the wifi is decent enough for streaming or gaming. I definitely recommend Felicia's cabin!

The Humble Abode

KimRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a great stay 3 nights at the cabin was perfect! We grilled a couple nights and got pizza to go on our last night so we could relax! We hiked every day the weather was perfect and due to the recent rain the waterfalls were flowing! Thomas was very responsive and helpful with everything. The driveway was very easy to park and had plenty of space. We did not use the upstairs, but the downstairs bed was comfortable. Another great trip to the RRG!

Secluded Cabin on Red Haven Farm

LisaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My husband and I enjoyed a much needed getaway with plenty of solitude at Sandy’s cabin. Gratefully, we found the red cabin was available and met all of our criteria on short notice including welcoming our furry friend as well. We live in an urban area so the quiet of the cabin and surrounding farmland was amazing. Mostly all we heard over the weekend were the birds and crickets. Very peaceful! The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One cooler morning we even enjoyed the coziness and warmth of the gas stove for a couple hours! We’d love to return for another stay down the road!

Red Door Cabin Two

KaitlynRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had an excellent stay! The place was clean and exactly how it was described. We really enjoyed that it was pet friendly and that our pup was able to travel with us! My only criticism was that the bathroom seemed to attract gnats. I don’t think this was any fault of the owners and it would not deter me from staying here again.

Red River Junction / 8 miles RRG

DavidRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Overall a neat place. Lots of amenities provided. Wish the cleaning crew would've done a little more (a lot of evidence of dogs from the prior family) and many dead bugs that hadn't been vacuumed up. The house is right off a main road (which isn't very evident from the photos) so we heard a lot of loud motorcycles and vehicles at night. The outdoor shower is a neat idea but there's no hot water so I can't imagine it being very functional. One of the two videogame arcades doesn't work. Lots of board game options, though. We didn't realize the grill wasn't a propane grill, so there wasn't an easy way to grill our food, so we ended up eating out at restaurants. All in all an above average place and not too far away from some cool RRG trails. Thanks!

Hike & Climb: Pet-Friendly Red River Gorge Cabin!

KarinRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Beautiful and seemed brand new. Everything was spotless. Well equipped. Very very private. No people or other houses anywhere near. One thing to note is that the driveway is very steep with loose gravel so even in spring or summer and in dry conditions it is difficult to get up without four wheel drive. My front wheel drive SUV barely made it up - wheels spinning the whole time. Would not have made it up if it had been very wet or snowy. Also would prefer the king size bed were in a private room. The king is in the upper loft which is wide open and does not have a door so if there are multiple people or couples this may be an issue.

Lily Pad Bungalow ~ Red River Gorge ~ Slade, KY

BeccaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We had a great getaway at The Lily Pad Bungalow! It was a little tight for our family of 4 but we were so cozy and very comfortable. My kids loved playing in the upstairs loft area, but they weren't able to sleep up there unfortunately. My husband slept on the couch and said it was very comfortable. We really appreciated the welcome snacks, snores kit and loved playing ms Pac-Man! We appreciated the flexibility at check in and check out- great hosts!

Throw'n Shade at the Red - near RRG, KY!

DanielRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Everything was really cool with the cabin. Really only book if you have an all wheel drive vehicle as the drive way is very steep and difficult to navigate. But i got the hang of it after my 3rd time pulling back in. Stay all the way to the right to get up that initial steep part. The cabin was very clean. The area was ver quiet. We probably saw 1 car pass on the road while in the hot tub and being on the porch for about an hour. The check out instructions were simple, wash the dishes and take out the trash. But i don't really understand cleaning fees being so high in spaces so small for only a couple days. We left the place pretty much how it was outside of washing the bedsheets and towels. They also prompt you to lock all the windows. Luckily we checked the first night after being there an hour. every window was unlocked. Just double check when booking anywhere. There are no curtains in the common area. I dint enjoy that being in such a dark environment.

Red Door Cabin Six

RachelRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We are already talking about staying here again if we return to the area. Everything was clean and looked exactly like the pictures. Great location not too far from attractions, trails, restaurants, or a grocery store. I do wish each cabin had their own fire pit, but this is clear in the description and really not a big deal. The only teeny tiny issue we had was figuring the lock out at first. The trick is to pull the door toward you while locking and unlocking it. We quickly figured out what we were doing wrong and loved every minute of our stay!
