This is the 2nd Thanksgiving weekend we spent at Deeanna's. Her home is beautiful, comfortable and each detail is thought though in the best way. Deeanna went above and beyond to accommodate my family and we are so grateful to her. The kitchen is perfection and the bedrooms are lovely and comfortable. The scenery and views are breathtaking. Overall, this home is a total gem. Thank you, Deeanna! We hope to come back next year!

We loved our stay in Westbrook! Mia's lovely home exceeded our expectations in terms of decor, furnishings, cleanliness, comfortable beds, and well-stocked kitchen and bath ... all in a quiet and private setting. The house was especially well-situated for us. We had tickets for a special theater performance at Gillette Castle one evening, and then had to be in New Haven on the next day. All were easy drives. And, there are amazing fine dining options nearby. We'll definitely try to book this wonderful place any time we have events in the area. Thank you, Mia, for a magical Autumn weekend in Connecticut!

Graciela’s home in Shelton was a beautiful and private home with a unique and wonderful style. The house has no other homes to be seen and the yard with the large pond was very relaxing. Graciela offered us early check in but, unfortunately, we weren’t able to get there early. The beds were comfortable and the layout of the home allowed for privacy. We made the most delicious steaks on the indoor charcoal grill. That was a treat! Appliances and cookware were of good quality and that made for easy cooking. We are so happy we found this place that was close to Center Stage where we saw an amazing play (The Last 5 Years). My family drove from Maryland to see their good friends star in this.

My husband and I stayed at the cottage for 3 months and enjoyed our time very much. We were very happy from every perspective: The cottage had all the equipment we needed and wished for. We sometimes used the fireplace and loved the bed/couch. The cottage is perfect to rest and focus. We enjoyed to have so much nature around us. We took a walk in the close park with a lake almost every day. We liked to live at a small farm with dogs, chicken and goose. Debbie and Kirk were always there when we needed them and also made us internationals feel welcome. They explained and helped us proactively e.g. changed regional weather circumstances. We also regularly got eggs from the chicken what was always a nice surprise. Communication/ interactions were always easy and friendly. I recommended my work to plan future stays for assignments in this Airbnb. In our opinion it is better than a hotel: Very comfortable, cozy, close to nature and a special American experience. Thanks a lot Debbie and Kirk

We had the most relaxing and beautiful stay on Linda’s farm! The house is so lovely and clean, we enjoyed nights by the magical fireplace. We went on mini hikes right outside our door, and the farm animals were the best bonus! Linda is so lovely and responded immediately to every question. We will surely book this beautiful spot again.

Wonderful stay! Close to beautiful historic downtown Essex. Short walk to coffee shop in the morning and dinner at night! Kayaking in Long Island sound! Great biking! Super clean, well decorated. Everything was new and Very cozy! Perfect couples getaway in the lower Connecticut valley!! Highly recommend!

I loved my time at this quiet little place, perfect for my little mid-week retreat. The lake is visible between trees and the neighboring housees, and the back yard and patio are lovely and private. The first thing I noticed when I opened the door was the smell of new wood from the walls covered in rustic pine. The decor is modern with just enough color to feel cozy, and everything I needed was neatly and attractively placed. My favorite part was the wood stove on a chilly spring evening. Michael and Erin were very organized with clear instructions. I was there to be still, but for anyone looking for adventure there are plenty of activities in the area for all seasons, and a variety of dining options within a few minutes' drive. I'll be back!

Elena's house turned out to be a great vacation spot for us. It was conveniently located, very well maintained and guest friendly. Though rustic on the outside, the interior was completely redone, offering all modern amenities you might want. Kitchen was better equipped than most Airbnb's we've stayed at and was fun for us to cook in Without getting into much detail I'll just say that should we be in the area again we'll definitely return to this Airbnb and always recommend it to others

My wife and I absolutely loved this cottage. It far exceeded our expectations. I felt so much at home, I almost went out and picked up the mail!There were so many supplies in the kitchen, a thoughtfully laid out living room and bedroom, a heavenly soaking tub in the bathroom, and serene surroundings. Everything was thought of from tasteful decor to plenty of firewood for the wood-burning fireplace and even an unopened toothbrush and other toiletries in the bathroom (including 2-ply!! ) It raised my standard for future rentals. We are lucky enough to travel several times a year. When we do, we almost exclusively stay at Airbnb‘s. This one was by far the most comfortable we’ve stayed at in many years. Thank you very much for the perfect visit to Connecticut

We stayed during fall and were able to take advantage of the fire pit. There was plenty of kindling to gather nearby and the fire under the stars was very peaceful. It was starting to get chilly during our stay and the log space heater was a very nice touch. Guest book includes a number of helpful recommendations for restaurants and activities. A lot of small extra touches made our stay very comfortable. We would recommend for anyone wanting a more rural feel away from the other tourists while exploring mystic.

We had a wonderful stay!! The lock was stuck upon check-in but the host called us (it was the middle of the night) and walked us through getting it open. She was so friendly and helpful! The place itself was perfect. Great kitchen, sleeping areas, clean and wonderfully decorated. Even with the lock issue, this was a 5 star stay and we have absolutely no complaints. We had 3 people and we felt like we had plenty of room. It’s also right down the street from the Mohegan Sun!!! So perfect place to stay if you want to visit the resort. You can’t get a better location. Also very quiet area.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. Ada was extremely responsive and friendly in her communication. The unit was exactly as described. There were so many nice and thoughtful touches - complimentary coffee/tea, popcorn, water, basket of games/books. We came to Mohegan Sun for an overnight and didn’t want to stay at the hotel. This place was a quick Uber ride back and forth. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay this April. House was spotless and newly refurbished. Pool area great (early in season so braved a cold plunge!!!) and appreciated the separate hot tub too. Pool furniture all brand new and special mention of the best kitted out games room I have ever seen! Location great. Very quiet but short car ride to East Hampton proper. Sammi’s beach a 10 min walk away. A fantastic stay and would not hesitate to recommend to others.

If you are staying for golf, the course is right outside the window. If you are staying for the casinos Mohegan is a 3 min drive away. If you just want a weekend get away, nothing beats staying on the grounds of a full spa. Highly recommend this location.
