We had a lovely 2 night stay. The contact went very smoothly and neatly and always a quick response. Very easy to drive to and parking right outside the door. Unfortunately, between 8am-7pm, you have to reschedule the parking disc every 2 hours. There seems to be a cheap parking garage nearby where you can pay for the whole day and you don't have to go outside every 2 hours. The area is not very nice and there was a lot of junk in the street. Key easy to get from the key box by the door. The hall and the stairwell are also not very nice and smelled very musty moisture, so we were startled for a while. But when we entered the Loft, we were still surprised, very beautiful, just like in the pictures, very clean and cozy! Also some small welcome surprises. Contact with the host was also easy, quick and friendly. We enjoyed it! Supermarket and city center are nearby (walking). Highly recommended despite the neighborhood and entrance 😊

It was easy to find, instructions were clear and easy to understand and therefore easy to follow. Surroundings were quiet and good for its privacy. It was exactly as described in the pictures and therefore very pleasant. Check-in was with a nice welcome and an easier tour, highly recommend. Host very nice and was always quick to reach/contact. Everything was frictionless and no issues. I can only recommend it to anyone who wants to switch off.

It was a surprise for my girlfriend, she couldn't stop being amazed, she wasn't finished looking when tears of joy came to her. So if you want to surprise someone here, it will definitely succeed. Above all, Maria is a very nice and reliable hostess and I hope that if I book something like this again via Airbnb, that they are all like Maria.

We stayed at Pia's chalet for a relaxing weekend and had a really great time. The house looks exactly the same as on the pictures, so it offers countless places to relax. The sauna & hot tub overlooking nature are also fantastic. We will definitely be back!

I stayed at Thomas place for a week during a combined business / family visit. The place is unique, very lovely in a private neighbourhood. It is spacious and well equipped. Thomas was super friendly and helpful throughout the entire stay and made me feel at home from the first minute. Solingen is close to highways to locations like Dusseldorf, Cologne or Dortmund, all of which is reachable within an hours drive. If you are looking for something exceptional, give it a try.

Beautiful house with breathtaking views over Lake Baldeney. The house has everything you need for a good time in Essen, everything very high quality and even personal, which you can't find in every typical Airbnb. Throughout the house you can enjoy music in the best quality, for example through Spotify. Also, the house has a fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you need and even several fully automatic coffee machines. You can grill in the garden with a weaver or relax in your own house which has a heated hot tub and sauna. The hosts Clemens and Mr. Siegler are very friendly, extremely hospitable and are always easily accessible. No matter what I asked, everything was always done to make you feel comfortable.
