A nature lover/bird watcher/ kayaker's dream! For kayakers, our cottage is on a canal that meanders out to Rondeau Bay, as well as a multitude of cuts of calm waters to explore. For bird watchers, many of the birds found in Rondeau Park can also be found right in our back yard, such as Orioles, a variety of Warblers, etc. Best suited to 2 adults but can accommodate 4. Short drive to Rondeau Provincial Park or the sandy beaches of Erieau. Comfortable cottage on canal with access to Rondeau Bay.

I recently stayed at this charming cabin and it far exceeded my expectations! This cute little place offers four distinct areas: a cozy bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a modern bathroom, and a delightful fire pit area. The bedroom was exceptionally clean, featuring a comfortable bed, a futon-style pull-out, a small table for two, a coffee machine, a mini fridge, a TV, ceiling fan, AC, and heating. The hosts thoughtfully provided a basket filled with bagels, cereal, chips, s’mores ingredients, fresh bananas, and more. The fridge was stocked with condiments, cream cheese, butter, juices, milk, creamer, water, and other essentials. The “outhouse” was a pleasant surprise—a fully functional bathroom with a toilet, sink, and shower. The screened-in kitchen area came equipped with paper plates, cups, cutlery, a microwave, an air fryer, a toaster oven, and a full-size fridge, making meal prep a breeze. The fire pit area was a highlight, complete with supplied firewood.

A well-lit indoor area showcases warm hardwood flooring leading towards a seating arrangement with a tufted grey sofa. A staircase is visible on the left, and a set of glass-panel doors opens to an adjoining room. Soft overhead lighting enhances the spacious ambiance.

Serene Cottage on the shores of Lake Erie

My sister and best friend and I had a lovely relaxing stay here. The bugs were crazy (but obviously not in the owners control, and normal for Lake Erie in early June) and the weather was a little wild as a strong storm rolled through, but that didn't bother us, there is a lovely basement to hang out in to ride out the storm, and screens on the windows so no bugs bothered us inside. The location is second to none, right on the water, and very peaceful. I loved the fact that my dog could stay with us too :)

Amazing experience for my entire family. Great views and access to the beach! The house was so spacious and clean! My wife and kids loved the place. Jack was great with communication and quick to respond to questions we had. Amazing deck we used every day to have a coffee and look at the lake. We were just a few minutes away from Erieau which was so convenient. We want to come back for strawberry season as Pardos is just minutes away. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs space and wants a peaceful get away.

Wonderful place! The house is clean, well-equipped (the kitchen had more than I expected), and located in a peaceful green area. The hosts were incredibly kind and quick to respond. I truly appreciated the stay.

We have stayed in many Airbnb homes but this one stands out. Kate and Nick were wonderful to work with at every step of the booking and made sure that we had anything that we might need. We felt at home as soon as we went into the house - so inviting - even better than the photos. The kitchen and bathroom were very well stocked, the living room was comfy and the dining room served many purposes. The loft sleeping area offered beautiful views and a cozy retreat after a busy day of birding! The place was so clean and the linens/towels were lovely. It is in a beautiful country setting - private patio overlooking the shady ravine, the screened Stilt House, trails to explore and open fields. We will be back!
