Vanessa was a great Host, and I would highly recommend, this place is very clean, quiet and peaceful. There is a supermarket downstairs where you don’t need to go far to buy food or what you need. Also there is a market near by like 3-4 min away from the apartment. I really enjoyed my stay here

My fourth time staying here and it’s just the place to be. The host is very kind, responsive and always available to support her guests. She responds to issues promptly. The security is very good with a high wall fence, guard dogs and a security guard. The flowers surrounding the house make your stay relaxing. Everything perfect, clean and tidy house, well furnished, excellent hot water, there is security at the gate and a lady who manages the cleaning. Also had very fast laundry service. The lady referred me to a trusted driver and restaurants. Only negative note, there was no soap in the house but I had been told in advance. There is a mosque nearby that makes the call to prayer very noisy at night and many dogs barking, but obviously the host can't do anything about it and in Uganda they are common things.

We had a few issues that could have been avoided but Sempijja was pleasant and offered us compensation. House wasn’t cleaned properly but he was extremely apologetic and explained it was an oversight. Suggested they provide drinking water for guests, tea/coffee and basic necessities. Lots of congestion with traffic so try to arrive outside of rush hour. The road in off of Masaka Rd is pretty rough but it’s easy to find. The house, pool and gardens are lovely. It’s very private and fairly quiet during the day, however there is a bar nearby that plays loud music until 4-5 am pretty much every night and a mosque nearby that shouts their call to prayer at 5 am. The fan helped drown out some of the noise. Suggestion - you really need fans for every room. There were only 2 for 6 bedrooms. The pool was amazing and beautiful surroundings. Partly shaded by a large palm which is great if you have sensitive skin. All in all we enjoyed our time and will return.

Great stay! Amazing space and even better host! Only downside, which is no fault to the host, the place is located near a lounge/club so if you’re a light sleeper on the weekends, would want to take in consideration. I didn’t have a problem as I just zoned it out.

Juliet is a gem and helped us with several requests we had. The space is large, the balcony is wonderful and overlooks Lake Victoria in the distance and faces southeast so we were ablento see sunrise. Kampala is not the United States (where we're from) so if you are looking for sidewalks and super fast internet, bought want to go somewhere else. If you want authentic Kampala living and neighborhoods, friendly hosts, and more birds than you can imagine, this might be your place!
