[Manshu] This price for 2 people! An old private house in the castle town of Iwamura. How about renting and dressing in a retro kimono? (Reservation required)

This is a calm castle town where people still live today. Feel the elegance and forget your busy daily life in a room in a spacious and quiet old house. This is the location of the movie "The Father of the Galaxy Railroad", which was released in May 2023. Manshō Shōten also appears in the movie. The scene in the used bookstore in "Yakusho Koji-san" was filmed at this inn. You can walk or drive to the Iwamura Castle site. Please come and imagine what kind of battles took place here. There aren't as many tourists as in other tourist destinations, so you can enjoy the castle town life to yourself. Iwamura fans keep coming. You will be surprised by the calm and quiet after 4 pm. Walking along the main street at night, you'll see a row of lanterns that look like paper lanterns, and it's very magical. On the day of the "summer solstice", the sunset falls straight down the street, and you can see a very beautiful view. (It depends on the weather, but it's around 6:30 pm for about a week around mid-June every year) We also operate a retro kimono rental and dressing service in this building. Please make a reservation if you would like to wear a kimono. Guests staying at the property will receive a discounted price. There is also a backyard and a storehouse at the back of the building, so you might feel like a ninja (^ - ^)

Japanese-style lighting/BBQ/Irori/15 minutes by car to Ena City/Private rental for one group per day/Old house Mahoroba

Why we created this private lodging, "Mahoroba" 1. I want people to know a little bit about the wonderful illuminations in Japan. 2. I want to create a spot that can be enjoyed at night, and I want you to value the time you spend with friends and lovers. 3. I want you to experience and enjoy the charm of the Higashi-nochi area of Gifu That's how I feel. The charm of our private lodging is the magical lighting in the house. In the evening, warm lighting soothes the heart and creates a special atmosphere. You can also BBQ or dine around the fireplace under the lights. Experience an extraordinary space with friends in this natural environment where you can see the stars in the sky. There are also plenty of sightseeing spots, such as the historic castle town of Iwamura, Japan Taisho Village, and Magome-juku, which has a nostalgic atmosphere. Recommended for those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and connect with nature with their friends.

Traditional Townhouse & Garden in Quiet Castletown

Experience the charm of traditional Japan with all the senses in this finely crafted townhouse & surrounding garden. Gujo Hachiman is known as the “City of Water”, and owner & architect Yuri Fujisawa has lovingly restored this charming residence to embody the spirit of water. Located below the town’s medieval castle, this neighborhood was reserved for high-ranking samurai. While the historical streetscape is well-preserved, it remains an authentic neighborhood inhabited by friendly locals.

Experience Japanese local culture and nature

Nakanokata-cho has a "Satoyama" landscape. This town is a small local community, but it is an area where good old Japanese culture remains, such as farmer culture, community ties, and warm people. I want to inherit this old private house that has been passed down for 100 years. With such a wish, we have renovated this old private house with the cooperation of local people, craftsmen, and children. We hope you to feel and enjoy the region of Japan through the stay. You can come here by bus.
