The Grain Store is a boutique studio style unit located on the western end of the Kangaroo Island Brewery production shed. A one bedroom studio with a queen bed, kitchenette, and a weber q on the deck. We are completely off-grid! A comfy sofa bed and heater for those cold nights. Great panoramic views of Nepean Bay and MacGillivray Hills. Walk to the KIB cellar door in 30 seconds! Our guest house is the perfect place to unwind & relax in a modern, stylish & comfortable studio after exploring what our beautiful Island has to offer. You will be staying on the same property as our own private home but with our rural location and paddock views we feel as if you will have your own privacy. We are located approx. 45 min drive from the ferry terminal in Penneshaw, 5 min drive from the Islands main town of Kingscote & 15 min drive from beautiful swimming/driving beach at Emu Bay.

The apartment offers spectacular views over Emu Bay beach and farm lands. It is a very comfortable stay with queen size bed, own bathroom, fully equipped kitchenette with coffee, tea, sugar and basic condiments, a lounge area with TV/DVD and own BBQ on the patio. Our fully self-contained apartment is set in a peaceful neighbourhood, a short stroll down to the jetty, new boat ramp and famous long white beach. The apartment is on the ground floor of our newly built two storey home. You have private access with no stairs or steps, parking at the front door, a well-lit driveway and entrance, off-street parking for boats, free wifi and reverse cycle air conditioning. The private outdoor area and lounge overlooks our spacious garden with your own BBQ.
