Great and comfortabel place beautifully decorated fully matching the description and photos. Very easy to communicate with the hosts who are very responsive. Hosts asked us if we would like some Christmas decoration as we stayed here over Christmas period which was very appreciated. Will definitely stay here again.

We were visiting a relative in the area. The venue suited our needs very nicely. Home from home (once we got used to the stairs). A version of the Guidance Book in English would be very useful. If we venture into Drenthe again, we will certainly look to see if Irene’s home is available.

L.S, We stayed in the house with 3 adults and 2 children in the spring break of 2025. Winterberg was easily accessible 14 km away. The home was warm, cozy and clean when we arrived. We felt right at home. The cinema experience with the big TV was very nice. In the kitchen, everything was available to cook. Also the big fridge and dishwasher increase the comfort. Personally, I (grandpa) loved that stove. Wood, kindling supplies, everything was in stock. And that lovely warmth from the warm natural stone plates: great and fun to use. In addition, we slept wonderfully. The contact with the host Birthe was fine. Messages were already sent before the trip. When we didn't get the WiFi activated, assistance was immediately provided online, just as long until it succeeded. We were also contacted again before our departure. Marcel’s place was an amazing find for us to spend the easter with our family and dogs. House looked even better than the pictures and everything was spotless. Garden is super peaceful with private fenced and our dogs had an amazing time there. They gifted us super tasty treats and wine and even our doodles got treat box☺️ I strongly recommend their place 🙏🏼
