Lorrie’s place was in the perfect location and even better than the photos! This may have been our favorite Airbnb stay yet; it was extremely clean, cozy, quiet, and relaxing. If you’re trying to decide where to stay in the Dallas area, choose Lorrie’s place!

We came to our home town area to surprise a friend and we were tucked away right there in her town. We walked to dinner and to two parks while we stayed. The areas in the home were spacious and clean. I had to bake enchiladas for 50 that I had pre-prepared so I was thankful for the large oven and easy back door access to my car. The beds had soft linens but were very hard. We appreciated smart tvs in all rooms. It was a struggle to have people in the upstairs apartment singing in the bath tub and pacing the floor/working out? Until well past 1am. Thank you for a safe and comfortable place to hide in plain sight.

We absolutely loved The Jewel. Our correspondence, from Ashley, was quick and she always was willing to answer any questions. It is very spacious, beautifully decorated, right in downtown. It is convenient to lots of shops and restaurants. We ate at, The Bluebonnet City Grill. They had amazing food with large portions. if we are back in Ennis, we definitely would stay here again. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

Jennifer is a wonderful host. The kitchen has some of the best tools (silicone , not cheap plastic!) and pans (Granite stone non stick worked beautifully,) I've come across. My kids LOVED the games and foosball table. Midlothian is a delightful, small, quiet escape from the huge population center that is Dallas Fort-Worth.
